24/12/2016 13:28 | Redcentric's results were nothing to shout about, seems to have been a bit sloppy generally, but money's been made and new management will have to square it up post Weaver and Coleman - and Castleton is well-placed under a new CEO to help things out next year having gone through acquisitions, integration and associated costs. ( and then there's the others ) And whatever else they do - anything bigger on getting some cash together so they can take a slice. All should be well. 'Independent' institutional buying would help confidence, but perhaps that's in hand for the next fund raise. | suneday

22/12/2016 12:21 | You guys have this all backwards.Let's look at this:- Company financials as reported on 1st December are extremely solid- Company has strong pipeline of upcoming investments- Existing investments are at an early stage in the investment cycle (eg COR, TAX and Sagacity)- MXCP share price valued at a significant discount to NAV plus multiple of EBITDA on the advisory business of zeroAs a shareholder I am extremely happy to see the company use some of its money to buy shares in itself when the share price is so cheap and the growth prospects for the company are so strong.Very good use of cash indeed. | panamul
22/12/2016 12:10 | 3 weeks ago they were talking about a pipelines of opportunities. Now they're effectively saying none are better ops than buying back their own stock. Strikes me that there may be more than just rcn with some problems. Definitely question marks hanging over MXCp. | mr roper
22/12/2016 12:06 | It's good - but then you reflect on why it's necessary in the first place, the Weaver effect, and for the company itself to buy shares, and what happens next. It's not a lot of cash, maybe, but there will probably be a dilution to follow, I suspect. | suneday
22/12/2016 11:43 | We're off.... buy-back, Capital reduction & share consolidation underway... | pottermagic2310
22/12/2016 11:42 | Lol...the desperate buyback. Things might even be worse than first thought with the stable | mr roper
21/12/2016 09:08 | MXCP "income" from its RCN mandate is EXACTLY £40K MXCP "income" from its free share punt in RCN is worth approx £2.5 MILLION!! Facts eh.................. | chimers
19/12/2016 09:17 | Possibly looking to fund-raise soon too. They'll want to do something with 365 Agile and certainly will need cash for any bigger projects that they have in mind. | suneday
19/12/2016 06:29 | I guess they will have to have a profit warning after losing the redcentric mandate, that was probably most of their income plus they will have to mark to market their holding Showing mega loss The bigger problem is who will want to work with them now they are tainted by redcrntric acconting fraud | larva
19/12/2016 06:23 | Serious question, does anybody understand the last three posts? If so,what nationality could they be? | leedsu36
18/12/2016 22:34 | pre-Xmas predictions for Business Plan/operational achievements & share price by end of March'17? | pottermagic2310
18/12/2016 18:03 | under a penny soon enuf | larva
18/12/2016 13:49 | Actually more a cornerstone, in investee companies at different stages of development - and those companies are where MXCP money is, other than the £5mil. or so cash they're holding ( after RCN purchase ) Chimers calls Mr. Weaver a shyster, and that sort of thinking is evidently shared and at least contributory to the recent drop here. With Weaver's credibility rightly or wrongly under a measure of scrutiny, and hence MXCPs resignation as advisors to Redcentric, MXCP will need to ensure it's investments are better rated than of late, in addition to whatever next deals may be in the pipeline. | suneday |
