21/12/2005 10:21 | Snappy Any thoughts of pending numbers from the company ???? | 1bensons
20/12/2005 16:37 | Still want to know where the Eaglet shareholding went ?? | 1bensons
20/12/2005 16:18 | It would be nice to see a director put their hand in their pocket and buy a couple of shares. Perhaps we might see a token £3600 purchase from the FD or CEO? A share buy back (for cancellation) now the share price is so low also wouldn't go a miss (the board have shareholder authorisation to buy back upto 10% in the market). Probably won't see that either though. | snappy
20/12/2005 15:57 | Ha! everything will be ok with the directors, they will prob buy the Co. on the cheap now, sack the overpaid sales people and they will be back to profit. thats what usually happens. Lol | madmick
20/12/2005 15:51 | yes it stinks!! | cornelious billy bee
20/12/2005 15:33 | "Where are the non executives in all of this" Probably hiding in the same bunker as the executive Directors...... "Absolute mess, and someones head should role" Yes but should it be the CEO or Sales and Marketing Director? ......... | snappy
20/12/2005 15:25 | I still can't believe that a board of directors earning a £1m a year can get it so wrong in 2 months........Where are the non executives in all of this...What's the point of having and paying Non executives. I'm also concerned that Eaglet sold 20% on the 12th December........Abso Absolute mess, and someones head should role !!! | 1bensons
20/12/2005 12:56 | billy, most, if not all, was already in the price before the announcement today. I did half expect something after the first half figures and the statement about result of investment in further sales staff becoming evident in the second half. It says to me that the board are not running the business particularly well. The language used seems to indicate that the problems have all occured very recently, yet they say that it has become evident 'about costs' over the last few years. Well if it was that evident why did they hire a load of new sales staff in the first half of this year, when a more cautious approach would have been more prudent. No performance related pay for the Directors this year. | snappy
20/12/2005 12:40 | snappy, I feel sorry for you I didn't see this coming, obvioulsy has had a knock on effect for HVN , wonder how they will n ow fair? maybe MSB too reliant on UK market? | cornelious billy bee
20/12/2005 12:23 | Perhaps time for a new Sales and Marketing Director too? | snappy
20/12/2005 12:12 | Yes a round of applause for the MSB board (not). I thought they were doing a pretty good job of turning this business around for the last few years and was surprised at the interim stage that the net profit had shrunk over the previous year yet they were still certain at that time of meeting the full year estimates. It would now appear the cost base is mis-aligned once again. If the board would like some suggestions one where to cut some costs perhaps they could look closely at their own salaries (which amount to around £1m pa). I would suggest halving them. | snappy
20/12/2005 10:30 | SThree recently floated | 1bensons
20/12/2005 10:06 | The MD and board has done a great job here....What a contrast to S3 | 1bensons
20/12/2005 08:47 | big profit warning just issued ... | deswalker
16/12/2005 08:40 | How long does a buyer get to inform the company........Is it 3 days ?? | 1bensons
15/12/2005 13:43 | Eaglet have wanted out for a while. The overhang can't have done the price any good. The question is who has taken their shares (20.63% is a lot to place) and what they are going to do with them! | stemis
15/12/2005 12:59 | Eaglet sell up. Peter Webb must have got fed up waiting for these to come good. No notification as to who bought the 20.63% stake yet. | snappy
30/11/2005 13:05 | A true Ben Graham Bargain!!!!!!!!!Net Working Capital less all liabilities £11.326 mln v current market capitalisation £9.0 mln.Profitable, pays a dividend with a good yield and a strong (lightly geared with plenty of assets) balance sheet. Should be remembered that Company has deliberately geared up by increasing staffing costs by 27% and costs has been bourne in first half but the benefits of this investment will not show through until the second (half) IMHO definitely one to go for at current levels. Regards | rainmaker
29/11/2005 10:54 | Slowly ticking up...Seems to be one or two buyers about | 1bensons
08/11/2005 09:20 | I'm topping up today. | mctmct
04/11/2005 13:03 | Collins Stewart forecast included now. Trading on 11 times this years forecast earnings and 8 times 2006, which is just 15 months away now. Collins Stewart reckon a cut in the dividend this year back to 2.1p, let's wait and see.
