Did anybody read about this Hydrogen Group that's being floated on AIM?

Hydrogen was formed in November 2005 when PRO (established 1997) and Partners Group (established 2000) were acquired and formally brought together. Last year the group reported sales of approximately £60 million and net fee income of £20 million.

Apparently their profits are £4m, and they're floating for £60m.

Kinda makes MSB at a £10m marketcap look cheap huh?

I'm not sure if they need to sell in order to affect change...............

where's the broker forecasts for this year and next?

Surely the £750K cost savings will feed directly through to the bottom line this year?

Still can't see Flaherty and Brown (circa 25% between them) selling out at present prices.

"Spring Group" - who they?

Oh definitely. 70p is bottom end. I had my calculator out and was multiplying by the famous 1.29 to see what price they might be talking about. Of course, it's really worth 125p.

Anyhow, the company is worth £13m according to the balance sheet. OK they made a little loss, but business is looking up, and they've just got a prize for being the best IT recruiter. So that's got to be worth a million or two. Let's call it £15m. Then there's the the turnover, which is the thick end of £100m. That's worth £10m easy. So we're looking at £25m. It really is worth this. Compare with HVN marketcapped at £40m with double the turnover but with £8m debt and you can see it. But let's not get carried away, let's call it £20m. And with just under 20m shares we are looking at 100p.

Come on guys, hurry up and seal the deal before Spring Group step in with their oodles of cash.

Oops, nice little move up. I wonder if someone's got wind that a deal might be close.

Here's hoping!

Granted costs will be high, they'll be turning over a lot of money on the contract side, but where is the margin going?

Marcus Gold-whatever sold this for £60million a few years ago didn't he?

By having costs of nearly £100.5million?

How on earth can they make a loss of £500k on a turnover of nearly £100million?!

Would expect interested Parties to act sooner rather than later because of cost cutting measures recently announced that are yet to show through!!

Share Mag seems to think a take out price of 75-90p but believes there are too many stars that need aligning for this to be a certainty. I would have said the opposite was the case!

Let's hope so, however the market doesn't as yet seem to quite believe it. Still trading at below net current asset level.

Farsight-The longer they (Quantica) leave it in all probably the more they will have to pay but they are probably fully aware of this.MSB has the sort of potential to reach those heights with recent cost savings and a decent return on Capital invested....we'll see!.You only have to look back over the last 12 twelve years of trading to understand what they are capable of if properly managed.Though, IMHO a safe bet from current levels!!

If Quantica want to deliver a knockout blow then their bid will have to be pitched at 60p+ probably 65p based on Active Value price paid-to give them a good return and the Company's present Net Working Capital of 55p per share
