Longboat could be in financial trouble and need cash fast. Otherwise they are completely bonkers. Its difficult to explain selling at 1p. MPM had 20p per share net cash at last results.

Longboat is liquidating its holdings (see major s/hs and the trade at 1p at 11ish which was exactly for that amount)

It is a hedge fund thatis being liquidated and has to sell all its assets.

Expect recovery when the US market opens.

I won't be surprised if MDY picked a few shares on the cheap

Most likely MDY getting out......they took a big stake here and have been very disappointed...then again any one of us could have told them that would happen.....

Market cap now only £2.4M

Net cash was £12M at end March which was stated as being enough for at least 2 years.

Big drop the last few days. It looks like blatant insider trading (ie. the migraine drug trials failed) or someone needs cash and prepared to sell at any price.

the trouble with Boffins they cant see further than the next test tube -how von earth can Dr.Sharpe as brilliant as he maybe ? be expected to make a plc profitable and generate earnings etc.
Its a bit like asking a hospital porter to perform surgical brain operations or the tea lady to manage a large corporate board room

seems to me too many tea ladies are running this company

Yet another fine example of the danger of

being involved in a company that rebases its shares with no change to the underlying operation
being involved in pharmas that have many years to go before they get close to commercialising anything

17.5p should hold imho ...17.5p is equivalent to the 0.35p first seedling placing prior to bio partners founders reversal into RII plc ..this was then followed up with another placing at 0.75p

Look at the chart, it was only taking a rest before it got back on the downtrend again. This is never going to give anyone (except the management by way of salaries) any return, the share price performance over recent years shows that.

even when good news is released the shares go a bit up ,then they are down again by the end of day ,look at oxford biomedica share in contrast .and the results are out in early 2009
