Yes good webcast. Not easy having yourself laid bare and not knowing what questions you will face over what is a very broad subject. Thanks.

Rachael777 Went in my favour this time. Are you still expecting a big pull back?

there is a big pull back from China to same country production.

we are well on the track to be a 100 to 120m valuation company by the end of the next financial year.

I base that on us making 10m and a valuation of 10 to 12 times......which is very low.

so my target end of 2021 is 600p

Equity Development
@equity_research
#MPAC interview with CEO, Tony Steels, discussing the synergies they hope to achieve with today's acquisition of Switchback.

something else to consider:

CEO has said one of the consequences of Covid-19 will be an acceleration of the move to automation.

Equity Development has noted 'unseasonally strong July bookings, especially in North America...'

50% of MPAC's revenues in the first half were from the Americas.

Today's RNS:

' Switchback was founded in 2006 and is a provider of packaging machinery and AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS...'

'Switchback will provide a platform to further build our business in the USA giving access to a wider customer base...'

From the CEO:

"Switchback's performance during the COVID pandemic has been strong with a good orderbook, demonstrating the high quality of the business."

I'm also grateful to those who sold their shares on the cheap.

ST target price was 350p before today's announcement.

Equity Development target price 380p.

Don't know anything about their overseas acquisition track record but they are notorious for their Nasty surprises not discovered by Due Diligence. And they will lose at least one key executive from UK to ride shotgun in USA. Hopefully they have all that covered.

mfhmfh- Quite agree, excellent news and likely to enhance earnings immediately. MPAC undervalued prior to today's announcement, so now represents something of a bargain in my view. Grateful to those who sold their shares on the cheap following results last week.

great news today IMHO.

this was mentioned in the recent half-year report:

'The Board continues to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities that strategically fit and which will enhance our global presence in packaging solutions serving the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage markets. An active pipeline of opportunities continues to be progressed.'

perhaps more acquisitions to come.
