Laptop15. I made a note not long ago that the production costs were predicted to be around $15000 / ton. So just with the tin at $16850 they will be in profit. Desperate for some production figures and recovery rates, and see tantalite and lithium as the cherry on the cake.

There is a Proactive Investor interview from Sept 2019 where you will get the most up-to-date info. I am not sure what the financials of Stage 1 are but they are saying that Stage 2 will be lowest quartile production costs.

Stage 1 is a pilot plant that should pay for a BFS and fund Stage 2. I understand that they are one of the few open cast tin miners and they are reopening a closed mine so to a certain extent their costs and risks are reduced.

Anthony Viljeon is a founding director of Bushveld Minerals where he is still a director.

The latest funding is from a Namibian bank, Nedbank - which replaces backing from Bushveld who are offering surety to Nedbank.

The Proactive Investors interview did mention some issues with the plant and expectation that this will be operational in November.

To me this is a 5+ year investment. It is only with stage 2 production that the value of the mine is going to realised. This timeframe could be reduced once the BFS is in place and with good tin price it may be possible to get funding to build stage 2 sooner than planned.

What do you guys think of cash levels here and spending on ramp up? Have facility but fairly small I see £2.4 million. Also what are the costs vs sales price? Will it make money at current TIN levels? Huge resource with 80 year mine life sounds good but how profitable can it be is my only concern? What are the extraction prices per tonne ? I'm interested in the company but wary of rising production costs and expenditure required

For three days now the buy price has been lower than the sell price. Has anyone seen this type of pattern before and what it might point towards. I’m confused, but at least the tin price is recovering.

Tin is trading at $16,700/tonne and the JORC shows measured, indicated and inferred 95,539 tonnes contained tin.

Good RNS today.

Much more than a large tin mine.

"Highlights

-- Announcement of a maiden Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource estimate, prepared in accordance with JORC (2012), for the Uis Tin Mine of 71.54 million tonnes of ore at a grade of 0.134 % tin for 95,539 tonnes of contained tin;

-- An Inferred Mineral Resource estimate of 71.54 million tonnes of ore at 85 ppm tantalum for 6,091 tonnes contained tantalum (spatially coincident, to the Tin Mineral Resource); and,

-- An Inferred Mineral Resource estimate of 71.54 million tonnes of ore at 0.63 % Lithium Oxide for 450,265 tonnes contained lithium oxide (Li(2) O) (spatially coincident, to the Tin Mineral Resource)"

Price of tin has been steadily falling since beginning of April. Expected demand for tin used in soldering hit by negative trade war sentiment. When the tin price turns I expect Afritin will too.

I'd be more than happy with quietly. Quietly ramping up to full phase 1 production. Quietly building up some cash. Quietly establishing JORC resource. Quietly producing Phase 2 BFS. Who needs theatrics in a mining company?

Quietly going about their business.

Commissioning of the processing plant in final stage;
First tin concentrate expected in early August;
Four-month ramp up phase commencing this week;
