It's a start .......

National Express coaches will be back on the road from next week.

The new timetable comes into effect on Monday 29 March, with just 15% of the normal network - and 200 drivers - up and running.

I am off abroad as soon as boris will let me. Lots of my friends think the same way. Can't wait to lay on a beach in the sun swim in the sea and drink cold larger while watching the football in a pair of shorts

@purchaseatthetop, good luck with that. A lot can change in a few months and I do hope it comes good however it may be that we are one of the only countries with fans at the Euros games at this rate. This grown-up gambling does frustrate me at times !!

redwing...it is a very good point that you raise. The hybrid is perpetual but counts as having a 10.25 year maturity. Clever accounting.

IMO...NEX had a choice - based on the fact that the covid19 crisis in Oct 2020 was raging and there was no certainty over any vaccine. They needed to tap the markets to ensure they had the liquidity to survive extended crisis and needed to get it in place a.s.a.p. Otherwise the share price would really crash.

The hybrid provided the certainty.

Yes...you are right that cash has poured out. There was no way that debt would fall when their operations were so destroyed and the BoD have painted the rosiest picture they can for themselves (which Directors do!).

however, still a no brainer as NEX is a developing transport technology company and will grow hugely in the Green Revolution. The share price reflects the value destroyed by the cash losses in lockdown. Solid growth through the year. I will look to other shares (AGL, ITX, BMN, SAGA, MCRO) for multi-bagging but NEX is a banker.

Very satisfactory day. I had added thinking that the results would cause a jump but as usual was wrong. However, I fully expect NEX to be at 340p by the end of April and then onwards and upwards. No stress or worries with this share.

I added yesterday 303, rude not too, results were fine. Sp not going up in a straight line, so opportunities for all to add or climb onboard the recovery train

Yields continue to rise and cashflow will IMO become more important. NEX is a very solid and secure share after the madness of the last year. OK...I bought first at 120p is but have added a few times since. Lovely management/leadership and company. Just need dividends to restart and all is finished.

I think there is a good 5% per month growth here running in to winter. A steady recovery play with little stress, if that's what you are in to. That is 5% not 500% like a lot of people seem to think is the norm.

Agree this will go over 4.00 but the market is crying out for a correction in the US the yanks will drag us down with them. Just look at bond yields over there

its not going to 280p! If it did I would sell every share to buy NEX. IMO..floor might be 300p and we should bounce up over the next few days. We will see. This share is long term value even at 307p

Certainly encouraging results, post pandemic these will fly over 400p, stay patient add on dips, hoping we get one this morning so I can add.

'ample liquidity', poised for recovery and growth, headline net debt reduced by c. £300m, new contract wins, I reckon £4 this year and reinstatement of dividend in 4th qtr.

Interesting to see Boris at NEX yesterday. Makes me think that the results are good as Boris does not like to associate with lack of success. Is it a coincidence that Boris was there yesterday? Boris does not do coincidences.

Not 375p, the next resistance levels are higher, stay long and reap the rewards as lockdown ends.

Resistance1: 413.50p Resistance2: 482.97p

Bullish short term & medium term, gap up likely to 400p, could come after the results, if not stay patient, same for all travel sector recovery plays..pent up demand to travel!
