Frankly the whole pharma world is dedicated to numerous vaccines. A number are going to work to a greater or lesser degree and then six months later we will have forgotten civic except for the debt. Maybe the govt know rollout will start December so are just lock downing to keep a handle on it till then. Hope so

HSBC upgrades.--

The bank said buy-rated National Express remains a clear favourite. It said the company’s track record before the pandemic was strong. "While recovery has been delayed, we continue to believe it will come through in time."

Latest lockdown should have very minimal effect on NEX,because around 80% of their sales are outside the UK. 42% of their sales are in the USA,rest in Europe, Morocco and Dubai.

So they have people other than the driver aboard the coaches now ... excellent news ... And on one route in Birmingham they have just replaced the single deckers on route with double deckers (whilst keeping timetable same) ... so I presume that would be down to increased passengers as well ... Also on one route in Birmingham then an additional early morning bus on latest timetable (which wasn't there pre-Covid) - so an actual 'expansion' in some NatEx WestMids services ...

Onwards and upwards, I have noticed more passengers on their coaches lately, life is picking up again.

Since March, close to 100 coach businesses have gone into administration and many more are on the brink as demand for their services has “almost totally collapsed”, said Graham Vidler, chief executive of the Confederation of Passenger Transport.

NEX likely to benefit from the situation IMO.

I have been waiting for £1.10 before getting back in. I may need to abandon that strategy.

Good luck if you got in at under £1.30
