Looks like mms have buyers at 12p. Not many takers of the close spread bid so far. They should make a market by raising the offer and bid

I think the hypromag ownership resolution (90% mka, 10% cotec) was a gateway to further US investment. This will surprise people, and will run quickly alongside imminent MDA.What is not to like. Added a few over the last few weeks.

Making the right noises about the MDA on FB... though they have done that before ..

'Ministry of Mining Malawi

Last Strawo Be assured that very soon the MDA will be signed. We didn't want to rush because we wanted to reach a win-win situation. This is our stand as government with all Mining Companies in the country. This time around we want the members of the community and the country as the whole to also benefit from their Godly given resources.'

Lewis, I dont disagree with half of what you have said. MKA has many exciting strings to its bow other than just Songwe which seems why we are both invested but you have yet to to prove my first statement wrong. It is likely an MDA is issued but the fact is it has yet to be. You are quoting Songwe potential value, not its current value. Regardless as to the progress made to date, it is worthless without a licence. That is FACT.I have stated an MDA is LIKELY to be issued as I am being overly cautious. I remain excited by the recycling side of the business and will remain a LTH however the delay is concerning and the share price is reflecting the markets concern. GLA

Yawn. It's like being at school. I did not invest in MKA for just the mine. My post referred to the value of the asset alone being multiples of current MCAP. Even if MKA fall out with Malawi, malawi will allow a licence against the asset. DFS done, environment licence done. All proven, someone would buy it.It's all irrelevant though. The MDA will land, mka have no rush, the magnets will makes more and more quickly and offer breathing room ahead of mine finance. If people are expecting a quick buck from the mda, think again. The market is completely different today. This will fly on other news.

So Lewis you are telling me that if MKA ONLY had Songwe and it never obtained a mining licence you would still be happy with your investment?

Lynas Says U.S. Doubles Funding for Heavy Rare Earths Plant

Lynas Rare Earths (ASX:LYC)

Tuesday 1 August 2023

By Rhiannon Hoyle

Lynas Rare Earths said it has signed an updated contract with the U.S. Defense Department to build a heavy rare earths plant in Texas that includes a more-than doubled fiscal contribution from the government for the project.

Australia-listed Lynas said the U.S. government now intends to contribute roughly $258 million to the project, up from about $120 million in June 2022. The revised contract follows detailed design work and cost updates since the initial design was completed, Lynas said.

The company recently bought a large site in Seadrift, Texas, where it intends to develop both heavy and light rare earths separation plants.

"This further support by the DoD demonstrates the priority being given to developing robust and resilient rare earth supply chains," said Amanda Lacaze, the miner's chief executive

I think we now have a 10p floor. Malawi is currently in for free and there is a discount for the recycling business.
