13/8/2007 08:08 | September, probably be the time when some "hot" money will start to flow in and we may see a rise prior to the resource estimate IMO | ![]() robbi123
13/8/2007 08:04 | Correct me if I am wrong but don't we have a update coming soon | davenic
02/8/2007 09:19 | top up time at 10p :-) update must be due in a few weeks now | davenic
02/8/2007 09:19 | I can think of no GEX specific reason - presumably a symptom of the general Market malaise. We know that this is traditionally a quiet spell for the Company, due largely to heavy rains. Interestingly, we maintained support around this level last year and the proving process has advanced significantly towards BFS since then - appears a good opportunity to top-up for those lucky ones who have cash at hand. | ![]() spaceparallax
01/8/2007 18:40 | 7% fall seems a bit harsh ..... although if there's no reason other than market sentiment then may be a time to top up. There's no news .... yet. | ![]() maniac3
31/7/2007 17:37 | Holiday time, I think. I just hope they took their holier's in Mali! July must rate as the most boring month on the stock market...I hope August kicks up some dust! Staring tomorrow...and no I have no idea. I have not spoken to anyone connected recently; merely hoping. | ![]() valentine
31/7/2007 15:22 | 50p would nice someday but just to double from here is probably more realistic if we get some encouraging news next few weeks may see some action. | davenic
31/7/2007 10:39 | What we need is some news or more to the point some good news..... | ![]() yorgi
31/7/2007 10:00 | I remember CEY when they were 8p.......was told to buy them.....but had to sell them again......bit of a bxxxxx but got in again at 18p...... So now we want some good news.....not sure these will be as good as CEY but who knows what they may find | ![]() yorgi
31/7/2007 08:11 | What we need is a bit of CEY action here :-) hope its our turn soon I remember when CEY were only about 18p now look at them | davenic

25/7/2007 08:26 | When are we expecting these estimates ?? | davenic
24/7/2007 22:16 | Stenick - Ur expecting 5m resource? Thats quiet a bit more than I was estimating - I was closer to the 3.5m but lets wait and see. | ![]() bongo bwana
24/7/2007 20:36 | Anyone reading this disregard it as I say 5mill oz.................. | ![]() stenick
24/7/2007 16:31 | Don't know much about them but China Goldmines (CGM) just came out with their JORC (apparently it was much larger than expected) and the share price shot up 50%...up 100% for those who got in earlier this year. 1.8M oz (@11g/t) market cap (according to ADVFN)~37mil. I've not seen many come straight out with anything over 2M oz recently....if GEX can do it it would certainly set them apart from the crowd. | ![]() serpicouk
19/7/2007 22:07 | Looks like volume has dried up. But nice to see some strength in gold. Anyone care to guess where the PoG will be when GEX release Komana resource estimate? Tempted to pick up a few while it's quiet. | ![]() serpicouk
10/7/2007 15:01 | There goes the 6.6m rollover again... with another few milion to follow no doubt? Instils confidence if nothing else. Me? I always buy mine in! These must be being swapped between partners somehow to continue the process. | ![]() valentine

10/7/2007 08:18 | The want the stuff produced first. Potential is just not what it was anymore. It is also holiday time in the City. Maybe the analysts are away sunning themselves? Great opportunity for the devotees! and they may be on hols as well! Have to make decisions on something else before I can do anything here. Just been on holiday and spent the lot! lol | ![]() valentine

10/7/2007 07:34 | Komana West Drilling Update out: Glencar Drilling Update Drilling Update - 10 July 2007 Highlights Glencar Mining plc - Komana West Project - 12,500 metres of drilling has now been completed at Komana West - - Main mineralised zone confirmed at shallow depths - - In KWRC089, the last 9 metres of the hole show a grade of 2.58 grams/tonne - - Mineral resource estimation underwayGlencar Mining plc ("Glencar" or "the Company"), the AIM and IEX listed company with gold exploration interests in Africa, is pleased to report on additional drilling results from its Komana West project in southern Mali. The assay results referred to in this statement relate to the final seven boreholes completed at Komana West prior to the onset of rains in early June and the suspension of drilling activities there. 12,500 metres of drilling has now been completed at Komana West, 9,886 metres of it reverse circulation drilling and 2,614 metres of diamond drilling. The boreholes reported here were designed to cut the northern portion of the main mineralised zone at shallow depths where the deposit is being exploited by artisanal miners. Two of the drillholes, KWRC089 and KWRC093 encountered voids, probably representing areas where the artisanal miners had excavated gold bearing material. The main mineralised intersections and the associated voids in the drill returns are given in the table below. From To Width Au (g/t) Hole ID From To Width Au (g/t) (m) (m) (m) KWDD089 7 8 1 void 32 33 1 void 38 47 9 void 49 56 7 1.04 117 126 9 2.58 KWDD 090 33 40 7 2.41 KWDD 092 32 39 7 2.76 43 47 4 1.32 55 64 9 3.44 69 73 4 0.99 KWDD093 1 2 1 6.23 3 5 2 void 8 22 14 1.66 18 19 1 void 22 23 1 void 39 40 1 3.06 43 45 2 2.46 It is interesting to note that in KWRC089, the last 9 metres of the hole show a grade of 2.58 grams/tonne in an intensely altered zone with associated porphyry intrusive material. This hole was drilled to a final depth of 126 metres to test for a possible extension to the mineralised zone. Further testing of this potentially new mineralised zone will be carried out during the next drilling season. Holes KWRC094 and KWRC058 did not encounter significant mineralization. Due to the breakdown of the drill at the end of the programme, one of the planned holes, KWRC091 could not be completed beyond 6 metres depth. SRK Consultants have recently visited the site at Komana West in the course of their resource study on the currently drilled mineralised zone. The results of this study are expected to be available by September next. Commenting on the latest results, Glencar's Managing Director, Mr.Hugh McCullough said,"We drilled these seven holes at this time to provide important geological data for resource estimation purposes. This area is one of intense artisanal activity which inevitably leads to incomplete sample return when drilling at shallow depths. We are confident, however, that the voids represent areas of relatively high grade gold mineralization and consequently we believe that these latest holes confirm the presence, at shallow depths, of the main mineralised zone which has been intersected in the deeper holes at these locations." | ![]() slj |
