That was an error.......whoops ...no I can do without the entertainment this is a nice silent thread with knowledgable long term posters...lets keep it that way......

Morning Paulo...I think we will get a little pull back to around 4.5ish and then move on to the next leg...if the upwood trend continues ....an indian chartist chum of mine thinks gold may go to 18,000 next year which would be nice......he has been right about most things not tha tI listened to him when he said pull out of everything last summer sadly

Lol! Fillip! Then it still means no need for GEX to tap shareholders for funds. But I wish it was, too.

lol dogberry wish it was, that's $1.25m ie $5m over 4 years. the decimal point went astray in that article

I really LIKE this bit.

"Gold Fields would also pay Glencar $125m a year over four years as an exploration option fee."

$125 Million a year !!! on top of retaining 35% of Komana..

Looks good to me. I've retaken a modest position in GEX. With the approvals by the Govt. of Mali and the RSA Bank this will be pure rocket fuel.

BT, personally , i will wait for the drill reports, wont be long now, they might add a bit to the share price no advice intended, but its gona be a long haul with this , imo

loosing drill time because of the rainy season, really puts a dampener on things,no pun intended

Its a shame that in a few days we will be back to where we started it seems, we need a nice steady news flow to keep it going now, i'm tempted to sell and buy back later.

Hi all,
I bow to your superior knowledge on this stock would appreciate a bit of friendly advice which may persuade me to jump in or not.

Very basic question but what would you expect for the share price both short and long term ?

Any other comments that you feel would put in the bigger picture would be very much welcome.

Many thanks and best of luck

I'm not as enthusiastic as most here, A coup for Gold Fields due to Glencar's weak financial position. are we now a subsidiary of a subsidiary of Gold Fields?

65% of Komana and an option on Solana. After we've checked out Solana for GF, Glencar's work in Mali will be reduced to attending exploration steering committee meetings.

Our future is secure as a footnote in G F's accounts. It could be worse..

SS - you were chewing sweets, flirting with the boys and smoking at the back of the class I think when the teacher advised of the terms of the RNS.

"Letter of Intent" dahling speaks of an honourable intention to conclude a deal.

A bit like many moons ago when the parish priest announced in a thunderous voice from the high pulpit that there was "an agreement and promise of marriage between...Desperate Dan and Minnie Minx" with Olive Oyl an interested listener.
