Notification of interests in shares.

The Garrard Rosenfeld Settlement, a trust in which Sir David Garrard and Andrew
Rosenfeld are interested, has notified the Company that it has sold 2,100,000 
shares at a price of 208 pence per share.  The Company has been informed that 
sale has been made to meet charitable commitments of the Garrard and Rosenfeld 
family interests.  The resultant holding of the trust following this disposal
amounts to 6,574,212 ordinary shares or 4.09% of the issued share capital of the
Company.

Following the disposal Sir David Garrard is interested in 27,692,406 ordinary
shares or 17.25% of the issued share capital of the Company, and Andrew 
Rosenfeld is interested in 23,528,753 ordinary shares or 14.65% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
