RBTrage. That 4.5m trade was a sell not a buy. Now you know how they kept the price down. Also the same seller will be in the market tomorrow selling as a protected trade.

Sorry to disapoint you all.

Yep, there's one already, 4.5 mln protected (buy,I assume) - below disclosure threshold if a fresh holder. Let's hope it's not City Equities or someone! There could be more to come.

humbugg-

That's what I thought this am, but I reckon the bid rose when the line dried up; they'll be borrowing soon though. When this is active, there are often very very late notified trades - sometimes 6pm +!

looks to me that the MMs have a steady source of stock to call on as and when they like. Who's the seller???

Dear Ahgumra

I hope for your sake you have proof of this very serious and damaging allegation. Otherwise I suspect you and ADVFN have left yourselves open to an action for defamation. As a regular reader of MW's website and BB, I know that MW takes a very strong stance against tipsters who trade in advance and makes it abudndantly clear that he can only buy his tips after his subscribers have received them.
Suggest you put up or shut up

KENNETHRICH,

Can't see how it makes any difference, the MMs will always know and mark the price up before you or I can buy. The price came down from the open and even dropped after I posted anyway!

RBTrae i was wondering the same thing but as they have 164m shares i dont think that 3m will make much of a diff or there might be a big seller with a late deal waiting.i am keeping my eye on it might jump in at 10m buys.

I would be surprised if the current price has reached a peak on this stock after the news of yesterday. If nothing else, I believe the market has been relatively conservative in the 33% markup for a company whose future has essentially been secured.

Another reason, is that with a new management team on board, it would be surprising if they didn't buy some shares to signal their confidence in the company now the debt has been reduced and the trading parameters improved. These purchases, if they be forthcoming, should offer a further support to increasing price.

And at 8.1p. Must fancy MFG to be worth at least that figure.

Looks like good value. The bank seems happy to take shares instead of cash.
