25/3/2002 08:42 | Promising start to the day! | al1
22/3/2002 18:33 | Who the hell keeps selling at such low prices? The seller looks desperate to offload - maybe this is forced selling due to some financial trouble or other which has nothing to do with MFG. Can't wait until results when maybe we will get some visibilty as to the state of the company, i cant see how things can be that bad since halifax surely would not have stumped up 13m without checking things out first. | kermat
22/3/2002 16:08 | MFG just reovered 0.25p and thats without me selling - still it will probably lose it again once the market knows I'm still holding! What a laugh - funny old game! IMHO. | pkvidean
21/3/2002 17:29 | Yes please pkvidean...... | asgarh
21/3/2002 16:35 | Yes, agree with IEN. Had to cut that loose fom my SIPP @ 3.5p. Bad decision! I notice that Ashley James has been banging on about WUN (Wellington Underwriting). Looks like a good alternative to ne and between that one and MFG I know which one I'd rather be on. Trouble is, if I cut loose this Irish dog and it actually recovers then I'll be looking at hara-kiri after such a long perseverence. So far, 80% of the time when I get rid of a company, I then have to look at it become one of the best performers in the market over te ensuing 2 years. Bet you guys hope I get rid of MFG! IMHO. | pkvidean
21/3/2002 13:02 | To think i once made a small shed load on these. IEN is one to watch in my very humble opinion. (:@) | brasseye114
21/3/2002 10:05 | Red Dog - I'm sure you are right that the seller knows (or suspects) some problem, but nevertheless, he could have offloaded even this quantity at better than 1.5p with a little patience. MFG generally needs around 2 mln net sells/buys to move it one 0.25p unit. | rbtrage
21/3/2002 08:39 | well bought this morning as they bounced it off the 1.75p mark | kennethrich
21/3/2002 08:26 | RBTrage. That depends on what the seller knows. He must have been a substantial holder to have so many shares and to sell at 1.5p, must tell us that things are not good with this company. I WISH I KNEW WHAT THE SELLER KNOWS. | red dog
20/3/2002 22:53 | Yikes!!!!! This looks stupid in the extreme, to put in mildly. I watch MFG constantly, as I've got several shedsful, but I give up on these trades. NOBODY of sound mind would ditch at 1.5p; even dripfeeding 250k blocks would have got them AT LEAST 2.25p on average. I hope they have no more they want to offload. Criminally insane, there is no other expression for it. | rbtrage
20/3/2002 18:47 | 3+m shares go through @ 1.5p. Any thoughts out there? | eugene1234
12/3/2002 00:27 | Agreed - I did my usual and bought too high again, back to sitting and waiting again! | al1
12/3/2002 00:12 | Looks like we could be holding these for quite a while...Have to be long now seeing as the price has fallen again and any chance for me to have made some profit has all but gone...urghhh 'As stated in the announcement on 8 February 2002, the Directors believe that there are opportunities to develop further Miller Fisher's business and that the issue of the CRCP Shares will now enable the Company to achieve a sound financial base and will better position the Company for future development.' Hopefully the next couple of months will see some postitive movement after today's fall to a mid of 3.50p...my oh my MrK | mrkournikova
04/3/2002 19:12 | What does the results from the EGM mean to the share price if anything | dryboy
25/2/2002 11:26 | I suspect we will have to wait until the results are released for some movement. Obviously we will expect a kitchen sink job when results are out, this is factored into the price I believe. Business is expected to return to Miller Fisher and this will prove to be a cheap share in the long run. Stay Lucky MrK | mrkournikova
24/2/2002 20:24 | Looks like braces (Justin Urqhart Stewart) is doing the rounds again on Working Lunch. Bet he does'nt recommend it again! One of the problems we've got is that the Insurance sector is going to be even more dire than it is now but I can wait a few years more (if necessary)! IMRO. | pkvidean
24/2/2002 18:31 | Yeah I watched it 18 months ago, when I could, not every episode. Seems the shareprice is quite happy to sit at 4p for the time being. It would be nice to see some upward movement this week, fingers crossed. | mrkournikova
24/2/2002 17:48 | I repeat :- Did anybody see Working Lunch 2 years ago or are you all new punters? | pkvidean
19/2/2002 16:09 | 1.75m unknown traded today - any thoughts anybody? | al1
11/2/2002 13:37 | Sorry Brasseye, been away from the board for a few days, only just noticed your edit. Thanks and sorry for misunderstanding | dmhzx
11/2/2002 11:36 | LEFT HANDED!! | brasseye114
10/2/2002 21:28 | No I agree with your posting...silly of me really | mrkournikova |
