Midas announces that it has appointed Mr Martin Gray as a director of the 
Company with immediate effect. 
 
Martin is the managing director of Miton Asset Management Limited and manages 
the CF Miton Special Situations and CF Miton Strategic Portfolio funds. He was a 
director of iimia MitonOptimal plc until March 2008 when he stepped down from 
the board following the acquisition of Midas Capital Partners Ltd. 
 
Prior to his appointment he had an existing holding of 1,687,751 ordinary shares 
representing 2.42 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital and 
options to subscribe for 1,150,000 Ordinary shares under the Management 
Incentive Plan ("MIP"). He was today awarded a further 1,000,000 options to 
subscribe for ordinary shares of the Company, at an exercise price of 25p per 
share.
