24/10/2019 08:37 | one more time for the blind and deaf 1. Underlying loss before tax(1) of GBP2.2 million in Q3 2019 (Q2 2019: GBP6.7 million profit) 2. Metro Bank is further evaluating its future plans to balance growth, profitability and capital efficiency (aka placing regardless whatever porkies they told in conf call) 3. 24/10/2019 08:34 | Rumobejo and Ammu, I do not believe Midas meant to call you such a nasty name, that said he does have a point. Lol. | smartie6
24/10/2019 08:33 | To answer my own question from yesterday - deposit growth v margin compression - it's the former by a compressed margin! For the bears obsessed with path to FCF, this period in the business has always been about building those sticky deposits, which they are very good at. The new strategy will likely see them move toward riskier loans - OSB has a NIM of 2.78, thank primarily to Kent Reliance. I'm also convinced we'll see a Brexit deal soon, which I've said before will have several positives for banks. | hussyo
24/10/2019 08:30 | Rumobejo and Ammunition sat stark naked. Come on ladies put some clothes on. Lol. I believe it just went over 200p and rising. May retrace a little but going up and up. Let us have some Directors getting onboard and a few more shorters reducing. | smartie6
24/10/2019 08:30 | Could well be spoarky333, the shorts have huge exposure here and the snowball effect of them closing one by one will be very significant. imo.. | pre |
