good evening chap - yep and last few days for me reinforces what is expected - feel for any that buy and hold as it were especially those over 4 digits and those at loser errrr i mean lower lol (still one and the same really) levels - could write a paper or why not to average down on this one but whats the point lol

I reckon half year results will be much improved. First quarter was just a statement which I believe is a big mistake of Metro to only report twice per year now! Saying the 1st quarter was strong means little without numbers and thus the slow fall in share price over the past months.

At least half year will be actual results and should directly boost Metro share price ..

US Banks report next week... they are expected to rally (knock on effect in the UK?)

Then the UK banks start reporting and again good results are expected and also previous funds that was retained for covid losses are expected to start to return en masse to the bottom line...

Why did the funds bail out en masse over the last few 3 weeks, and only gerbils buy for a reports week, today?
