Now, when price falls,

And falls and falls

have to ask yourself, is this a value drop?

Well, i guess you have to consider the fundamentals that had it higher, see those as still valid, and more importantly, the city seeing same too

So on both counts in MTRO

Price climbed from 55p to 160p then fell back to basically 120p after announcing higher than required debt provisions to be safe. The higher debt provisions gave the press an opportunity to write their usual negative stories. That chased away the day traders and Goldman Sachs drove the price down selling 5% (before re-buying them slowly). All pretty normal stuff after such a good rise...

A week later after end year results - Furlough was extended 6 months by the Chancellor so the fact is - the company has leeway with stored cash...

When something drops 30% in weeks, and diverges from a rallying sector by circa 50%, there are only so many excuses one can make for it

But we are speaking of a share that currently sits about 95% down from past highs

Since feb 8th, Down approx 30%

Another 60% ?- no probs at all

So, when you consider a few banks since November, all the sector rally has done in mtro for 5 months, is give gerbils a belief in something that does not exist

This will remain true in sector downturns and/or continuation

Once the sector takes a wobble, mtro will lose 90% value

Sound extreme? Why? It lost 30% already in a strong sector move, in weeks

Apart from going up in November with the sector rally that month,

it has failed to do anything in the consolidating following 5 months period since, bar lose circa 30% of its share price value

it's downtrend cycle continues im afraid. There was no uptrend., Just a sector spike, from which it has diverged from by about 50%

No matter what way you look at it, this is the reality for investors, given share price is primary P&L driver
