I really think that Reddit group who took on the shorters with Gamestop will slowly put shorters off, when they short they will never know if a group of investors buy the shares to counter and fry the shorters, a lot of hedge funds have deep pockets but don't underestimate what thousand of PIs can do to take them on. It will be popular as a social do good.
I think it will be interesting times.
