gap markets on first day of new year. gap downs for buyers. Mark out when price gets back to last end of year close. gauge the market. If you get buy call , hold

they are proper returners

if you dont see value, just leave that space open for next week,. Book only needs be full when its full value

well, everything is planned. Neednt even be at the comp unless a bit of day trading

get price alert, check market is as you would want it to be. yay or Nay

week easy

and time on weekend is not wasted. you've planned execution price, stop price, time to move to breakeven , initial targets etc

if it doesnt occur , or price alert received but market not right, that work will probably pay another week or month anyway

i run limited size books everywhere

but you could do a boook of 10 uk, and not bother with any in comms or forex etc

i find a good overall number is 20


geographically spread, sector spread and obviously try make sure you have zero correlations within each book

Its only a suggestion. I used to do same as you years ago

Really no need though. Just put a bit extra into less

Weekend work, i typically find 20 potentials. And during the week, maybe 5 will bring to the table, exactly as planned to press the execution button

And its easier manage. Honestly it will pay the same as many

Just run books

Example continuous 5 ftse 350, book of 4 etfs. book of 3 america , book of 3 soft comms etc

Your only putting a new value in after you close one out

Much easier control. Easy work

It stops too much trading or investing. Keeps you focused on value, when you close one and can only replace one in that book. Makes you truly see top dollar, everything right, value

I'm still learning. Need to keep an eye on bear side.

Last two days I opened over 14 positions and monitored existing and potentials. Very messy.

Its an important game. It tells you what you think true value is, and indeed, a target for the other way some day. Ftse id put 3500 minimum today

Lets be honest here. When it all kicked off, circuit wires were getting hit regularly

The Feds are the market as we all know. And artificial in full.

DOnt fight the current as you say, but jees, expect mayhem at some stage

its not there yet, but be watching for the signs

Its the natural cycle. But the bull side is all that feels natural to most. The bear is as natural if not more so

i do most of my work on weekends. During week is just about managing the books really ie positions.

Im never holding such on a weekend again. Record bull brings record bear one day. May not be tomorrow or next day, but its pretty much assured

Doubt it will go straight up. Gotta trap some bears first.

Lots of analysis to do tomorrow. Above avg, ma etc. Good to have a break to plan week out.

In fairness to pione, he was well ahead on the stocks. got rises yesterday too. Mine were still flat
