"In Germany, local media are reporting that zoos are making contingency plans, including killing some of the animals, should the lockdown continue without a solution to their financial troubles.

Neumünster Zoo’s director has told Die Welt they have “listed the animals we will have to slaughter first” and said some may even have to be fed to others. But even such drastic plans would not be sufficient to solve the problem. "Some of the animals are sadly not as popular as others, for example we have a filthy fat pig named Wardy, he was very much disliked by the tourists so we have decided to kill him first and then feed him to the other pigs."

Best laugh must be the news that School children to go back to school in May.
So in summary, go back to school for what is an irrelevant 2months for the many.
Why not just be honest and say schools to provide child minding for 2months in an attempt to push forward a return to work for the few.
What a worthwhile strategy. Especially given that in normal times when schools return illness in the community increases fourfold.
