A lot of varying slump forecasts out there, from minimal to two decades

5 years seems a cert anyway . Nowhere near back to 2019 level's in that time . Real data like employed numbers etc

Amazing, the speed they can get money to markets though isn't it ?

The reason money is slow to business I think, is because there is a realisation , the money won't save business

They made the promise so the speed will be tortoise . In a hope that the majority fail before any process can be completed

Additionally, the support package for self employed and those made redundant or furloughed isn’t sufficient. I’m not sure how many are going hungry but I imagine quite a significant number.

We have to rememberer that the average rainy day savings for the many is less than £400.

I guess what I’m saying is what’s happening on the street.
How the financial support can’t be rolled out at any pace.
Once you realise how bad it is and how these businesses can’t survive without direct support then it puts a different view on everything.
The numbers I’ve quoted about cbils 4200 from 300,000 applications to date, will mean they’ll need over 140weeks to turn that many applications around if everyone was granted.
These banks only have a limited number of credit managers within their credit departments.

Even better, 300,000 applications to the end of last week (in 2weeks) and they’ve agreed 1.5%.
This is worse than anyone thought.

Government clearly, just like PPE, never thought the logistics through. They are so incompetent.

I have a new stat for you.
U.K. government show that up to today only 4200 Cbils approved equating to £800m.
That’s equivalent to one very small city, and the loans have not even been paid out.
Staff constraints and ability to review documentation submitted and willingness to support Issues.
That house of cards is looking very flimsy now.

Loan applications are not being processed and businesses are not getting the money in time.

That’s just not acceptable. The Trump administration needs to fix these issues NOW.

JP Morgan Chase, the nation's largest lender, announced that effective Tues. homebuyers will need FICO scores of 700 and 20% down payments to qualify for a mortgage. Housing prices will have to crash so most buyers, especially 1st time, can afford to put down 20%.
