Nice to see this morning's rally fizzle out as fast as it arrived!
Now doubt plenty of gullibulls bought the chinese factory output news, ahead of the 6m unemployment claims this coming Thursday!

Sort of makes you thankful of seeing Stim panic

Certainly (imo), they have a grasp on adjustments - and trying to float the pending

There are database feeds (subscription but il post in Sparta), which suggest that the movements in the investment houses do not match the article. However still got two days lag on it

Not sure tbh pione. Certainly could have played a part.

But from bonds to stocks sounds pretty suicidal given the forecasts from the likes of GS

Would think the adjustments were not so, and stimulus a mislead on it

Vernon, that’s how you do it. What a dog shxt share.
That said only made enough for a family meal at Nando’s if they were open.
I haven’t the skill of Kathy. Plus I’m in protective mode with my capital.

Read this:

"The quarterly and monthly rebalancing of portfolios was expected by some traders to create a big move into stocks and out of bonds by the end of Tuesday.

Strategists said forecasts of how much pension funds could buy in stocks before the end of what’s been a terrible quarter has been estimated in a wild range by Wall Street, from about $20 billion to over $200 billion.

A number of strategists say they expect the buying to be at the lower end of the range and say some of the trading may already have happened - raising concerns about what could happen when the new month begins Wednesday.

That simply means, they could sell bonds and buy stocks."

Is this why it spiked?

New, very gloomy U.S. economic forecasts from Goldman Sachs:

Q1 GDP -9% (Q/Q annualized)
Q2 GDP -34% (Q/Q annualized)
2020 GDP -6.2%
Unemployment 15% by mid-year
