Do u guys buy new cars? I couldn't bring myself to pay it ever.

Ya could pick up a 5 year old S500 for pence compared to listing. Always few miles on most of them and like they just left the showroom

If the plate number doesn't bother you, there are great top end vehicles out there for nearly nought. And getting cheaper because nobody wants to run them. Probably why so cheap after leaving the showroom

share price seems to be being held down. Hardy bounced during the big ftse bounce last week. Could be an interesting trade today going into data. See what you can dig up...

Used cars will make a fortune in the near future. New car sales will take a massive 2 year hit

It’s an interesting one indeed. All time low going into data. Short interest at all time high. But underlying business is solid. Breakdowns likely to be unaffected by virus, if anything, demand will decrease, which should increase margins in core breakdown business. However AA owns driving instructor business, which will suffer. Also owns AA cars, which is a used car website. Both non core but both will be massively affected. There’s also the possibility that people cancel their breakdown cover during lockdown.
So it’s an interesting one for sure.
The issue seems to be debt. Needs refinancing bond in 2022. If this crash leads to interest rate increases by that point, then debt is likely unsustainable.
There is the possibility of selling their insurance business, which is very healthy, but valuations won’t be what they would have been, so this may no longer be enough.

SR, you taken a look at AA?
Massive short interest that’s recently ramped up. At all time lows. Huge debt mountain and Mcap now around 30% of EBITDA

No one wanting to touch Barclays though. Maybe wrong but tells me RNS today regarding dividend cancellation. 11th hour. That will hurt.

Poor old desperate shorts have run out of fire power and are doomed to failure.

MTRO Bank is shorted to 8.2%

Wonder why Barclays and other banks not listed ?

Please do your own research as always.
