Hi Marie. No def better opportunities. I like US stocks REITS and U.K. house builders. Supply and demand drive resi prices. 2008 no demand as couldn't get mortgage. Not same here.

However, the economy started to recover after 7 months of post Spanish flu pandemic.

Question is how long will this pandemic last. What if social distancing is imposed for 12 months as initially suggested and the economical outlook in this practice. And what if the world shuts its borders to US for not doing enough.

lol

The other problem is even if a vaccine or good treatment comes soon- the lag in market data will most likely be confirmations of global recession.

so, be a while before buying really resumes regardless

plus of course, the costs of the period going forward

Agree propinv, we are far from bottom.

Are you going long now in metro ? I guess not now as there are many attractive options out there.

Sr

They all expect a V shape recovery - thats the norm after a bad spell

but those guys have this all wrong

— exactly. I watch CNBC and sometime I can’t believe those so called expert kept on saying that expect V shape recovery. I was like - love, I should give interview in your place as they talk nonsense I guess.
Just ramping

Seriously SR. To advise quick V shape recovery within few weeks or even months should be considered a criminal act. Like of Lee out there are scumbags.

I'm not thinking about recession, but great depression.

It cant be allowed

normal market resumption would be back to yet another false creation bull market

they have to let it down - controlled fashion

only way to kill the future QE bill

And maybe even get rates going for banks again

It will get passed. No doubt about that - but looking at global markets on their stimulus announcements, it wont be as big as some think

dont forget everyone thought the stimulus would pass in the US without question - markets didnt think much then in reaction to the number

Think we need to bounce around for a few days with broad upside bias. This is looking like it ends quicker than 8 weeks, but the lows aren't in yet by any stretch

City strongly advise you do not rush in to planned investments when you hear of todays historic rise. This has occurred in 2008 , and we strongly expect the Dow to head for initially 17,000 - and then assess for sub 15000 pic.twitter.com/7ojytSs1Bx
