12/3/2020 11:05 | The markets realise that no stimulus package or central bank response can fix the issue of supply and demand that we are now witnessing - it's unprecedented. We will need see weeks, if not months of market disruption. We will see businesses collapse, which will hurt the banks. Consumers will stop spending, but worse than in a normal recession. Travel will stop, essentials will stop. Netflix and Justeat will replace cinema and restaurants. The virus will be around for 18 months. Italy is on the verge - the contagion that will cause is also unprecedented. Greece was bad enough - but Italy, it's another story altogether. | idoflykathy | |
