15/9/2003 16:41 | Phill - Yes still hanging on in there. Decent set of results, so I shall stay with it albeit that the MMs are probably the most manipulative I have yet encountered. Just take today as an example. I am minded to write to the Metnor Chairman and tell him what it is doing to investors' confidence and the resultant damage to his Company. H. | hamilkar
15/9/2003 14:08 | hi Hamilkar, you still in? I have to agree with you that the mm's are something else! Spider1, I think it will be a bumby ride if it does go up to 273 - not for the faint hearted. ph | phillhayes
03/9/2003 07:42 | Yesterday the Company lost 2.4% of it's market capitalisation on one transaction - a sell of 1976 shares. Yet another example of the irresponsibility of the MMs. When was it ever thus. | hamilkar
29/8/2003 15:43 | ok, thanks - I like metnors fundamentals, the trend looks good when viewed over the last 5 years. seems to be very little interest in this share at the moment - I'm holding. phill | phillhayes
27/8/2003 08:31 | PH - I'm sorry I am unable to do better than refer you to the news items in April this year when a fairly positive and upbeat statement was issued. I have nothing else but hope that this will be repeated at the Interims. As you can see I'm pretty fed up with the MMs who lead us on a merry dance. You can bet your bottom dollar that if the results are good they will up the price dramatically. Sorry can't be more help. I'm holding until then. H. | hamilkar
26/8/2003 15:22 | hi Hamilkar, any feelings on the interims due 11/12 Sep? | phillhayes
22/8/2003 18:14 | DOWN WE GO AGAIN - Marked down 6.5p i.e. 3.2% of the value of the Company on a balance of 350 shares sold (2000 bought - 2350 sold). I hope the marketmaker/s Winterflood Secs and KBC Peel Hunt have access to this bulletin board and can see just what I think of their continuing pathetic activities. This is not recent they have been doing it for ages. A disillusioned investor - H. | hamilkar
20/8/2003 14:29 | UP WE GO AGAIN - now being marked up on no trades - the market maker/s handling this stock do themselves no favours and damage investors confidence and the reputation of the Company by their pathetic manoeuvring. | hamilkar
05/8/2003 09:28 | Here we go again - being marked down on no trades whatsoever - a clear buy if the MM takes it down to 175/180. | hamilkar
27/6/2003 11:05 | This share is so illiquid! If it continues down like this I will be back in again. | rcturner2
16/6/2003 09:59 | I sold today. RSI is very high + had a good run. Price easily moved with two sells. | rcturner2
02/6/2003 19:40 | News from Orical on iii about a new contract worth £4m. A few sells today, yet price rises. | nicklive
02/6/2003 13:41 | Trading statement due around now. Any views out there please? | orvis
04/5/2003 20:30 | RCTurner2 & spider1 - Many thanks | gardener1
02/5/2003 20:26 | Charts show resistance @ 197p. This now appears to be breached today giving breakout to 233p. see www.investech.com | spider1
02/5/2003 17:33 | Its very hard to know - I get the impression that the mms move the price at will - I cant find any logic in the movements of MTG. | rcturner2
02/5/2003 15:57 | Been in these for some time, now nearly at break-even. In view of the excellent rise in the share price this week I am tempted to sell, although still have faith in the company. Just worried they may now fall back again. Any thoughts would be appreciated. | gardener1
30/4/2003 10:00 | Indeed it was marked down, but is now moving up nicely on apparently low volume. | rcturner2
29/4/2003 22:11 | Wrong. Today was the last day to buy for the divi. Tomorrow morning the shares will open ex-dividend. The shares will probably be marked down by a few pence (when market opens) to make it fair for buyers who miss out on the dividend. | vs
29/4/2003 22:05 | I think tomorrow is the last day you can buy and get the 3.7p final dividend. Will be interesting to see then if this little run will be dented by going ex div. | orvis
28/4/2003 14:28 | I pretty much concur with ICs view of the company. I think that they are an undervalued company. | rcturner2 |
