Took another 50000 @ 3p, even if there was a placing it will be no less than 3p, if there isn't a placing then 3p is cheap, that's my logic, hell its only money

Yep, must be a large background buyer or seller, so either the mm's are dropping it to get shares or there is a large delayed sell going to pop up in a couple of days

Well only a fool would disagree with your comment.
I would have to say its odds on another placing is coming.
most buys and yet they keep dropping the price to get buyers.

i plan to hold and pile in on the next placing, thats if there is one of course.
i can see they are now slowly turning this around.
good luck

This project has been little short of a disaster. A textbook case of how not to do it.
How many years has it been to reach this pitiful state of affairs.
It may of course do better down the track.

i just got offered 3p to sell.
Almost the same as its been for a few weeks now.
We are now at all time lows taking into effect the extra shares that have been added since the last time we were at these levels.
Are we really in a worse place than we were in Oct 2015. no is the simple answer.

Look how they moved the price down on the last RNS. yes it wasn't great but was it that bad.
now we have a opps update, it wasn't that great but it was positive. No movement.

MM's always know whats down the line,all the sells that have been showing have all been buys. you have only been able to sell at under 3p or just above. So almost all buys yet they keep dropping the price? They seem to be clearing as many shares as they can. Just my take on how i see it.

They may be looking at funding options, it's wise to have something in place if gold production doesn't cover costs, but if they do cover costs with sales and they don't require additional funding, the current share price will be a bargain missed, decisions decisions

The share price probably never moved because of the funding issue.
will they do a placing? they said.
"the Company is considering an external contingency funding facility"
I would guess they are more than considering, they either are going to do it or do a placing.My money is on another placing. Thats if the large holders have the stomach to
stick there hands in there pocket yet again.
but i agree patience will be rewarded. imo

Well I'm pleased to see the wheels haven't come off the cart as some predicted, fingers crossed we get up to speed with gold production and meet the payments, if no additional funding is used then we may turn a corner, I'm surprised the share price hasn't moved though, the figures are finally in black and white, were not going bust that's for sure, patience will reward I'm sure

Plant is looking good, good to see that gold processed within the last quarter exceeded the total collected in 2016.

The crushing and grinding circuit is operating reliably at or above design throughput;

· The gravity circuit is operating at design recoveries of 30%;

· Flotation is operating soundly with performance around design when fed with sulphidic ores. Oxide ore feed compromises the flotation recovery;

· The carbon in leach circuit is operating at or above design recovery when fed with BIOX® derived product; and

· The ancillary systems including counter current decantation, neutralisation, reagents, cyanide destruction and residue disposal circuits are all operating to design.

Some process issues have been experienced with the ramp-up of the BIOX® circuit which are attributed to the supply of "inferior" low sulphide oxide ore produced from the mine during the extended rain season (as reported above, in Mining Operations). Prior to feeding predominantly oxide ore to the plant the BIOX® process had been performing well with throughput having been built up to around 70% of design. Once supplies of available sulphidic ore were exhausted, and oxide ores were the only available alternative the performance of the BIOX® circuit progressively deteriorated until it effectively passivated. Following the establishment of reliable sulphide feed to the process plant the bacteria are being re-activated with positive effect.

This is all that is important in the short term. Ramp up, revenues and permit approvals are still up in the air for me...not going to re-invest as yetBecause of the level of the Group's current cash reserves, a heavy reliance on deliveries of gold generated revenues in ramp up and the deferred and upcoming 30 June 2017 capital payments, the Company is considering an external contingency funding facility and will keep the shareholders informed of developments.· On March 31, 2017, the Company was granted a waiver by the lenders pursuant to the Facility Agreement dated May 28, 2014 (as amended) allowing the Company to defer repayment of US $4.24 million principal that was due on March 31, 2017. Pursuant to the waiver, the deferred principal amount is repayable as follows:- US $1 million on April 28, 2017- US $2 million on May 31, 2017- US $1.24 million on June 30, 2017

Not a bad update, better weather ahead should mean higher gold produced in Q2 & Q3

Bought in at these low levels recently.

Well all in all things seem to be progressing satisfactorily, end of wet season and increase in production should boost Q2 results, nice to receive a decent update across all areas.

Well its election day in france.
all across Europe they hold there elections on a Sunday.
Seems to make sense, people have all day to vote, as most workers have the day off.
Why in Britain we go to the polls on a Thursday makes no sense.
Polling stations open at 7 so workers that have to leave early cant vote till they get home, then if they want to vote on the evening its a rush.
Is it no wonder that the turn out is normally very low.

the wheels of change are slowly moving in the right direction.
as this article says, "If she goes, the troubled Philippines mining sector could get a boost overnight".

i agree,open pit mining land should when finished be put back to how it was. now that includes some costs being paid for by the government.As they benefit from taxes and royalties.

but if the greens had there way we would be living in mud huts, riding horses and not eating as what ever fuel that would be used to cook with would be bad for the environment.

gianpeach

you cant sell anywhere near the bid, last time i looked it was around 3.02p.

I agree with her stance on the miners that are destroying the environment but it's her heavy handed approach that has caused the issues and it would appear that she hasn't followed due process nor possesses any qualifications or experience to carry out the role.

A number of the CA members have family ties to the industry so I'm hoping she will be rejected in May and that will be the end, although I wouldn't be surprised if Duterte creates a new role for her.

i would have thought they would have appointed here in march if they were going to.
i think from what she has been saying she knows here days are numbered.
she has some good ideas, but just went much to far.
like all greens they want to save the world but dont think of the normal working people that there polices affect the most.
massive loss of job, loss of billions in taxes so who do you think that would affect the most,yes the poor of the country. Greens just think there polices will only effect big business.

if i got 2 tick downs for posting H, I wonder how many i will get for this post? lol

Yep she's been bypassed twice already if she gets rejected again in May that's it, the president has to replace the appointee
