surely you'd be buying johnlll if you were confident in your source..
------------
tsmith2 - yes, I definitely would be, but alas the credit crunch means no bonus, no cash, no investible funds. I am fully invested elsewhere and don't really want to sell anything to buy even more MTL. My source is reliable, but I only mention it here in case anyone else might be able to corroborate. It is only a rumour, and I don't pretend to have any inside scoop. Just hoping someone else might have heard something. BTW sorry for late reply. Am having a holiday in sunny India. Never been here before, just found a computer to login at hotel in Jaipur.

It's probably nonsense but whatever way you want to look at it these are undervalued so one should be buying anyway.

Can you clarify the logic for an inexperienced investor such as I ?
I thought you could buy these at 12p anyway, and if the main shareholder wants away, isn't he of 'stressed seller' status ?
I don't get it.

Cheers THX. Sorry I can't be more specific but it is from someone who is normally reliable with good sources, so I have to listen.

30p would be a tad disappointing I have to say. What is very clear, to us at least, is that we are seriously undervalued at present.

Hi guys

I have been a holder for over 2 years but have never posted here before. What prompts me to post however is that I am hearing rumours of a bid at 30p prompteed by the Candy Bros desire to exit. Anyone know anything about this?

MTL has had its moments the share price has been up and down like Tiger off the golf course. The trouble with this company is that it cannot maintain any momentum or stable story. It is extremely hard to map out what the company is doing. There is nobody on the board with appropriate experience to start and develop a mine. Until that changes I fear this company is going nowhere.
Enetertaining at Cheltenam and Twickers is not going to advance the company's prospects. It has so much potential and real value in the ground. If I were Mr Candy I would take the company over sack the board and get a mine plan up and running. Clearly the paper work has been done, the FTAA is a clear example of success, but what else has been achieved in the last three years. The share price says it all.

Wont be the first thing Tom gets wrong.........!
Still think BZT is the philipino flyer and will 5 or 6 bag...... but whilst I was not prepared to play MTL at 24p its price has halved and its total gold resource has only lost a quarter (still got the moly) although infact the quality of the remaining resource has improved so does not warrant a 50% reduction in my book

Also a lot of these aim gold plays have not increased at the same rate as the pog should have sugested so there should be are rerating next year of some

given that we have halved and that the market has over reacted by some long way, IMHO now.

Also we are likely to have news before xmas with drilling going on - step out etc.

Management out on site this week so news possibly as early as next week. Now that things have calmed it helps re-reading the update.

Easy target for the market at the moment
