did anyone notice the sell off yesterday? it had all the hallmarks of a margin call.

i got some at 4 cents. I'm still totally overweight this one. I hearing NZ news next week maybe. given that the price ended up where it more or less started (with just under 2mill sold) suggests something is cooking.

well my contacts just pinged me... they say horn is bringing in tullow and doing 3d seismics. excellent timing on my part.

btw tullow demanded 3d as part of the deal.

this is more or less what everone else is saying though...

closed my horn trade for a 25% haircut. i don't believe the market believes anything is in the pipeline.

updated the weekly chart above, pitch fork seems to be in operation. so took a little be more.

bought some horn today just now at 32... i'm hearing that a major might be coming in to jv it, could be tullow but maybe conacco...

mes are working on their nz deal, puntland might be delayed due to horn not hitting the good stuff.

nothing is over by a long shot.

Do shareholders get paid dividends ?

With these foreign companies with dubious (i.e. non fair play English standards of sportmanship) corporate governance standards I would not trust anything they say until they start paying shareholders cold hard cash

I sold some and the share price tumbled but I stil hold quite a few.

For share price to head N imho some exceptional news is needed as simply making profits as MES does, for a tiny co seems not to do the trick these days.

interesting news today from Horn - my take is that until all the land packages are wrapped up horn will not produce any good news. lundis are not in a hurry to have horn suceed. why should they?

i heard the rumour through my sources and bought some horn but didn't like they way it was being traded so got out. disappointed with my source now...

I've got bids on mes right now but going to pull those as well.

it's down to the bunker time....
