jim - sometimes it's the obvious answer. Maybe they're not piling in because they think the company's going down the tubes?

Jim

Insider dealing?

There is only one "inside" Director, Mr Michael Morris. The rest walked. All the others are "outside" non execs.

Well guys, have watched all the comments over the past 2 weeks ---- and as you all say , is surprising the Directors not piled in heavy.
So, my guess is that there is a positive announcement looming, of a new deal, and the directors have held off ---- in case of an insider dealing charge.

So , expect some good news soon is my thoughts ------- or it is a big ploy
to go private asap ----------------- but like many of you , whatever the news,
not happy with the current way of management, and treatment of its loyal shareholders.
We shall see..................

Just out of interest ...Were you all aware that the FD is not a full time director and has his own company so only visits the Marchpole HQ occasionally. Not something I was aware of I must admit !!

Presumably today's big trades are sells @ 12.5p. But I'm not sure. 3 v 1 for 2 day's now and I would expect if anyone tried selling 100K @ the bid you'd probably be offered 9 - 10p. So it's a mystery!

I'd like to think they are being bought by directors or buy backs as they usually let them have them at below market prices. So I look forward cross fingered for an RNS soon. We'll see but very disappointed with the outcome here and it stands me as my worst hit so far.

wbj your a brave lad going onto PET. Why don't you try something more reliable like DGO?

wbj would much appreciate your support in the action group (if not already). No commitments at this stage.

Numbers are rising steadily. The response has been in line with (our) expectations. Although any comparison on a strict like for like basis is difficult, I believe numbers are up 60% on last week.

We believe we that we have now laid the groundwork for a successful future, anyone not signing up would be "out of their brains".

I say bust BARN OWL.

I would be more confident if the outlook for the retail sector / market place in general was good but at the moment who would take on such a risk?

Shame really because this looked as if it would become huge a few years back.

Perhaps the action group should make enquiries as to who the regular 5,000 seller was, if that is at all possible. His/Her determination and persistance over the last 6 months or so would suggest knowledge from the inside.

I suppose it is also possible that a (the) major shareholder has done little to save the ship, (some may say scuttled) in order to gain cheap salvage rights and relaunch her as a private concern.
