#90034 I didn't vote for years and years and years after Mrs Thatcher was so brutally overthrown. I shall be voting this time, though, even though much of Mrs May's platform looks like a c & p job from a socialist document. If she screws up the Brexit negotiations, let it not be for lack of ammo.

Have I got this Labour manyfesto right? If you're really wealthy and earn eighty grand a year you're gonna pay 45% tax. Then after you take off national insurance and pension contribution you'll be left with three parnds fifty so you won't be wealthy any more but you'll probably qualify for in work benefits and 30 hours child care for any 4 year olds you have hanging about?

I was thinking more along the lines of those that are 'too busy', saul.

i.e. They can't find 10 minutes in the 6 hours they have spare each day.

Using my formula:

10 hours work.

8 hours kip.

6 hours spare.

I'm not even sure I shall vote myself to be honest. Which would be 2 elections in a row, the previous one being the Local elections of a few weeks ago. I have voted in every other election prior to this.

I'm not sure why it has just crossed my mind, but I wonder if the turnout would increase if we held our elections on Sundays (as most of the foreigners do) rather than Thursdays?
