I was looking at their last interims. Over £1m pre-tax profit for 6 months. If they continue with that ball park and double it, then the current £11m mcap looks cheap.
Whilst this obviously came to market far too highly valued, anyone know any more about this one's recent performance and news from the company in general...?

I am puzzled. MEA may be a great company - but today's 16% share rise appears to be on the basis of just one buy of a measly 1400 shares. The spread at 11.9% is just ridiculous.

Medsea Estates Group: Finally turning the corner?
By William Foss

Medsea, as the name suggests is a property company focused on the Mediterranean.

Before 2005, it was exclusively focused on the Spanish real estate market, specifically in Costa Blanca, Costa Tropical and Costa Calida regions. However, after some pretty impressive growth in previous years, 2004/2005 turned into two devastating years for the company and shareholders alike.

Preliminary Results

RNS Number:0810B
Medsea Estates Group PLC
06 April 2006

For immediate release 6 April 2006

MEDSEA ESTATES GROUP PLC
PRELIMINARY UNAUDITED RESULTS FOR THE YEAR TO
31 DECEMBER 2005

CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT

The year 2005 was one of major investment for the Medsea Group. Recognising
market changes, we significantly expanded our infrastructure, launching products
in Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Portugal and Bulgaria. We also increased our Spanish
presence with a major development in Aguilas, Murcia, and formed alliances with
major companies in the German, Dutch and Benelux markets.

As predicted our subsidiary Euromed, established to broaden the scope of our
activities, has begun to generate income, and is now in good shape to become a
significant contributor in 2006.

During the year we completed the reorganisation of our Resale Department,
strengthened our management and marketing team with a number of important
appointments and became the first company in the sector to receive the ISO9001:
2000 certificate of quality management.

The general downturn in the market earlier in the year caused our turnover to
fall by 39% over the previous period in 2004. Also the scale of our investment
in new countries and staff obviously had a major impact on profits, resulting in
a small loss of #52,000 (2004:profit of #2.24m).

This period of significant activity and investment is now completed and many of
our investments - Italy and the Aguilas development in particular - are already
making significant contributions to turnover. With Euromed set to fulfil its
potential, Medsea's long term future is assured and we look forward to further
progress in the coming months.

Downwards ...

might be fallout or connection with this:

"THOUSANDS of Britons who have bought houses in Marbella over the past decade face having their homes demolished after the exposure of a €1 billion property scam run by town planners."

I think they should file them before the end of this month - last year they were on March 21st. However we haven't even had an announcement yet about when they will be (last year that was on the March 3rd).

Getting a load more of the pump'n'dump treatment on iii, courtesy of the usual suspects.

Last time they did this, with all sorts of ludicrous figures, the ramping fizzled out a bit, after it was shown to them by MaxProfOrdIs(and myself) that they had completely misunderstod the numbers and didn't even realise that MEA's turnover is comission and not gross sales. T_T(tiptornado on ADVFN) then tried to state that he had understood this all along, despite all of his previous posts clearly showing that he didn't have any idea what he was talking about!

T_T also appears to have forgotten that he claimed to have sold out on Monday and then posted about "topping up" on Tuesday, resulting in him rapidly having to try and cover by claiming that MEA's management had called him up!

Hilarious!!

What a credible bunch of chaps we have here!

FWIW, if results are likely to be radically different to the outlook presented in previous results, then it's likely that MEA would have issued an update, isn't it?

During the last pump'n'dump Medsea issued this:

22 February 2006
MEDSEA ESTATES GROUP PLC
('Medsea or 'the Company')

Medsea has noted today's share price movement but is not aware of any
information relating to the Company which should be announced to the market
under the AIM Rules.

All IMHO, DYOR etc.

The results must be due any day. Either they have leaked, or someone is trying to fool us into thinking they have been leaked. Given that we've got 2 trades only, amounting to less than £1,000, I'd say it's a trick....
