Nice little announcement:

Sustainable Resource Management (SRM), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) between
May Gurney Integrated Services plc (May Gurney), Innisfree Ltd, and Norfolk
Environmental Waste Services Limited (NEWS), has been recommended by Norfolk
County Council's Waste Treatment Project board as preferred bidder for Contract
A of the council's Residual Waste Treatment Project.

SRM is proposing to treat 150,000 tonnes of household waste per year using
Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) and Anaerobic Digestion (AD). SRM proposes
to build a facility at Longwater Industrial Estate in Costessey, next to the
Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) operated by NEWS. The contract has a duration
of 25 years.

David Sterry, Chief Executive, said: "This announcement consolidates May
Gurney's position as an expert provider of waste management solutions to local
authorities. Our success is due to our ability to establish effective
partnerships with complementary providers at a time when recycling, waste
management and sustainability are right at the top of the local authority
agenda".

Hello palwing, the following is a cut and paste taken from their interim results announcement of 5 December 2006

Dividends

An interim dividend of 0.9p per share will be paid on 12 January 2007 to
shareholders on the register at 15 December 2006. In line with expectations set
on Admission to AIM it is envisaged that the interim dividend will represent
approximately one third of the expected total annual dividend, which will be
pro-rated to adjust for the period whilst the company was unquoted.

New high on the way, helped by this (from Citywire):

The following AIM stocks have been highlighted for 2007.

"...Luke Ahern of Corporate Synergy says buy May Gurney and Worthington Nicholls and sell White Nile and I-Mate..."

Another one for the theory that the quieter the board the better.

IC state for this year:

PBT - 12.8m
EPS - 14.9

I think this is to March 2007.

Giving a forward P/E of 14.7.

9.5 x EBITDA, so assuming a full tax charge, call it 14x.
I haven't the prospectus, so can't do any more numbers.

Mmm, so still some way to go?

This was 2x subscribed in the insti placing, so some may be catching up.
Looking at the awful initial performance of a lot of new issues recently, I must say I expected to be able to buy into these at a decent level.
