05/12/2012 15:37 | Or does that make it ex divi today? | simon42
05/12/2012 15:13 | I think this answers my query :o) - speedsgh - 4 Dec'12 - 15:42 - 400 of 401 0 0 edit "The dividend will be paid on 7 January 2013 to holders of ordinary shares on the register at the close of business on 12 December 2012." That makes ex-div date Mon 10 Dec. Isn't it unusual for a share to go ex-div on a Mon? I thought ex-div was usually on Weds with record date on Fridays? | speedsgh
05/12/2012 11:27 | A lot of resistance at this price but it's starting to push up against it. If it manages to get over then the chart says straight to 200p. We'll see and fingers crossed. Push!!! | simon42

04/12/2012 15:38 | An interim dividend of 2.79 pence per share has been declared since the financial reporting date and so has not been included as a liability in these financial statements. The dividend will be paid on 7 January 2013 to holders of ordinary shares on the register at the close of business on 12 December 2012. The Trustees of the May Gurney Group Limited Employee Share Ownership Trust and the May Gurney Integrated Services plc Employee Benefit Trust have both waived their rights to receive any dividends in respect of shares held in the Trusts. | tamboerskloof

04/12/2012 08:42 | I am. I sold a 1/3rd yesterday as a bit of a hedge against anything nasty but they look pretty good so I'll be looking to pick them up again if I can. | greenroom78

02/11/2012 19:33 | certainly right there shammy. this is on its way to 200s prior to results on 4th December. Almost 5% divi too and interim ex-div date will be in December I guess. | melody9999

16/10/2012 08:35 | Interesting tech article here just out......... | mechanical trader
15/10/2012 19:08 | Cheers Greenroom! I also bought more today. As long as there is no more (significant) bad news, then it must surely re-rate to a PER of say 10 (at least) in time. That implies a target price of 250p+, very good upside from 145p today. And we get a 6%+ divi yield whilst we wait, even better! Best thing of all is, in my opinion, there is no risky debt. Just finance leases which are ring-fenced and locked into customer contracts. So even if there is some more bad news to come out, the company should not be under any threat of going under, and we as shareholders can ride it out. A PER of under 6 prices-in more bad news, yet the last recent trading statement was in line with expectations. I'm happy to hold these for a year or two, collect the divis, and hopefully make a nice profit on the capital too. PP. | paulypilot
