Hi Rutter - I think you've missed it!

The trouble for rampers is an enormous institutional overhang. It looks as though they've decided to sell many millions of shares at 2p. The other concern is that the company's made a terrible mess of things. I know that doesn't worry traders but it worries the likes of me!

FWIW I bought some OCT for a medium term trade - the RNS this morning was awesome. In the oil sector, I have positions in three companies with exciting wells drilling now - TRP, which I'm sure you know, RXP, which is doing so much better than Max and HUR, which is looking to prove a major new concept with enormous potential. HUR's well was a tough one to drill but they've finished that successfully and there's just the small matter of a few weeks of testing.

What else should I be looking at?

edit: Almost forgot. I've got a few UKOG as the Lenigas effect seems to be starting up there too.

If you have bought to hold,then:-

The obvious -potentially- huge implications of the next drill for Zhana Makat.

Another Catalyst would be the hoped FFD for the Asanketken Field and its
circa 1250 bpd.

in 2014,with current estimated cost reductions of $7pbl + 80% that would achieve
the higher export rates,so another boost to cash flows.

With Max currently looking at 4-4500 bpd then Zhana Makat could be an ace to hold.


No advice intended of course.

I noted on the News this morning,that the US has achieved what it usually wants,
leaving Iraq in a state of total carnage and chaos,so I look back upon the possible lucky decision to get out of GKP a long time back,as I admittedly
don't have the stomach for the Iraq mess,created for Oil & the now in tatters $petrodollar

I daresay Kazakhstan is a paradise for oil Business Men and Investors by comparison to some parts of the World.

Even the us losing 13 Billion Bls oil-on paper adds to questions about the Oil game in the future.
