Posted at 21/1/2012 09:59 by jonwig Managers of venture capital trusts (VCTs) are offering existing investors the chance to swap their current holdings for new shares on which they can claim another 30 per cent income tax relief.The current outperformance - artificially generated by buybacks - might be a prelude to just this sort of exchange. Current management, by ditching lots of AIM stocks, seem to be doing a better job of things. Whether I'd take part, I don't know. |
