              Notice concerning the results of repurchase of shares

MARUWA today announced the results of the repurchase of shares pursuant to the
provisions of Article 156 as applied in lieu of Article 165, Clause 3 of the
Company Law of Japan and the end of the repurchase of shares according to the
resolution at the meeting of the Board of Directors on 14 November 2006. 
Details are as follows;
     
1. Repurchase period                     From 15 November 2006 to 23 May 2007
2. Total number of shares repurchased    165,000 shares
3. Total amount of repurchase price      412,533,500 yen
4. Method of repurchase                  Purchased on the Tokyo Stock Exchange
