Still here cpap man, not sold any, all held within my SIPP. You don't have to agree with the running of the company to see there is a good profit to be had eventually..........most sells yesterday were probably warrants and a few scared weak investors.....IMHO

But as you will see Hot Maden is accurately referred to in today's Ariana Resources (AAU) RNS.

Highlights:

Salinbas Project is located within a multi-million ounce goldfield containing several significant gold-copper projects, notably the adjacent Hot Maden project.

Also this perhaps give more precise details of the location.

Salinbas Project

The Salinbas Project is located in the Pontide Metallogenic Province in northeastern Turkey and lies approximately 80km southeast of the coastal city of Hopa and 20km east of Artvin. The project comprises three notable prospects: Salinbas, Ardala and Hizarliyayla.

If so pr0t0n, why would Eldorado relinquish their 49% interest in Salinbas?
Whilst the geology is different in the north, the vein systems are linked and an Ariana Scoping Study a few years back, before we knew about Hot Maden, gave it an NPV of £100m.
Off topic slightly, but it looks a great acquisition for little old Ariana (AAU)with a Market Cap. of. circa £13m. I hold shares in both AAU & MARL.

Speaking of Eldorado, they just poached CEO from Gold Corp.
They have 1 billion $ in cash after selling mines in China.
Operator of the Turkish biggest mine.
They could be interested in HM, but it`s just my speculation.

See AAU RNS this morning re: their acquisition of Salinbas from Eldorado which is just 16km to the north of Hot Maden. Obviously not Eldorado then and Ariana Resources are too small. So back to Lidya!

What about Eldorado who hold 50% of the Salinbas asset with Ariana Resources (AAU) which is just north of Hot Maden? Interesting times. Seems we were oversold yesterday for no valid reason IMO.

Seems likely to me for Lydia to be the only buyer for this company.
Hard for Mariana to move much pricewise with so much unsettled in the region.
I personally like the company but hope they can get their other resources drilled soon.

Someone on LSE thinking along the same lines as me.I guess it makes sense to think it could be Lidya.Lidya M&ACould someone please re-post a link to that M&A appointment? Was it a Lidya position or for the wider group? I'm not worried about the small drop. I strongly believe that something big is going on behind the scenes. Lidya/Alacer must be tempted to take Mariana or Hot Maden out before the PEA tempts other parties.

At this rate we will get the PFS BEFORE the PEA!!!
What is the reason for the delay?
Why did we need a PEA & PFS anyway?
Did anyone ever answer that question?
Why spend the money on a PEA when the following quarter we will have a far more robust PFS?
Reasons for delay:
1. Alignment? That sounded feasible when first touted, but seems less likely now imo. It wouldn't take this long to amend a few numbers.
2. Approach? Could be - would be nice.
3. What other reason could there be?
I'm relaxed as these grades are just mind boggling. The mining world is going to be asking what is going on here? When did anyone last have a gold/copper find like this?
I suspect it will demand some cool heads at Mariana/Lidya to ensure we aren't tempted to sell out too cheaply. This is World Class...a world beater.
Can't believe that the market is making it cheaper for us to pick up stock!
Mad world, but each to his/her own.

Today, there's a Kitco interview with Brent Cook..I think it's on U-tube..he makes 3 tips for 2017 and one of them is Mariana..I'm sure he made reference to a resource upgrade or something..not that clued up on such things
