Ah well, no RNS to explain the position re the counter bid hence price slide again; I assume BoD are aware and will comment surely they need to, perhaps an after close statement will be made.

Black rock clearly ahead of the game here..that 1mill buy a few days ago? @ 8.7.. it`s a fair bet it was them.7% and probably growing...free float gets smaller and 5 minutes ago I couldn't buy anything.now managed another 25K @ 6.6. GL all.. 18p min for me.

The assets are valuable and the ethanol business is just taking off.the extra acreage will certainly boost production in the future .Still some answers needed here but the Americas are waking up now so maybe some clarification ..meanwhile the volume is good ,picking up again.should be past 10p by now surely?

Re Cenkos ..are they saying the current bidders are a subsidiary of Maple corp?

BoD stitch up to satisfy their own ends(perhaps)......

If we don't get at least an explanatory RNS stating why they rejected this offer i.e. the one they are proceeding with is better (haha) then I think there should be a major shareholder revolt and requests for BoD to step down.

The BOD has to inform of all offers regardless whether at parent company or subsiduary level...

Hi Darren

The consortium have made their approach at subsidiary level. That is their decision. Therefore the Directors had to consider that. Shareholders still get to vote on the disposal (Fundamental change in business per AIM rules) which is why the release referred to a circular.

Alan

I'm sure the MM's will manage to get this under 6p by the end of the day for the large players to stock up.

It depends on which is the primary listing - I assume they should be notifying LSE via RNS ASAP now that the second better offer they received is out in the open, guessing they are currently working out how they get out of the mess they have made for themselves by not notifying shareholders of second better offer when it initially came in.... though if management team all in South Americxa likelihood is we wont get that RNS til later today once tey hit the office and start drafting.
