Posted at 06/8/2007 10:00 by cockneyrebel there's a lot of stuff undervalued at the moment Just Looking - punters are on a buyin gstrike while the sub prime debt fears scare investors. Everything being tarred by a brush that has nothing to do with them imo. What then happens is the dust settles, these cheap little co's put out results or trading statements that say they are doing great and suddenly there's a ruch to buy all these ignored little bargains. Sadly that's the weay a market works, short term we often get pain or exhilaration but longer term the true valuations get outed imo. CR |
Posted at 30/5/2007 08:21 by robward Hi NJPI know you are a long-termer..in the last few weeks we have had a few new posters who appear to be momentum investors..only concerned at the short-term picture. I try not to post to often and when i do i like to put informative posts about contract wins and more insight into some of the larger organisations we are dealing with. I like you are happy to hold for the longer term. Regards Rob |
Posted at 23/2/2007 09:17 by louse Rob sounds like you have bought back in. If so best of luck (for the next few years). Seemed to move up as soon as you sold last time so hope you aren't a jinxed investor. |
Posted at 22/6/2005 08:32 by robward Hi MacThanks for your words of encouragement. I basically agree with your post, however, it concerns me that we dont appear to be winning new business with new customers. For example, the sales of MAPS Healthroster were to existing NHS customers and the contract with The British Army was an extension. We know that they are working on a contract with the Australian Defence Force and that there are 608 NHS Trusts to target !! A little director buying would give me a little more confidence. Anyway, I still hold and will continue todo so....tehy only have to make their profit forecasts for the next 2 years and we will be happy investors. Regards Rob |
Posted at 03/2/2004 09:12 by robward Hi BantamNot sure if any news is due but the mm's are desperately short of stock and I would guess that MNS will get a mention in both Shares mag and also Investors Chronicle. I am in for the long term so short term flucuations dont overly concern me but in the short term any price over 30p would be a good sell point, based on current forecasts (1p y/e 04 and 1.8p y/e 05) Best Wishes |
Posted at 27/1/2004 16:40 by mac Keep up the good work. I too am rather a long in the tooth investor. It's all a question of when with the NHS. Not known for their management ability. How many NHS managers does it take to make a bed? 0.33333 if mem seves me correctly. |
Posted at 21/1/2004 11:06 by robward Hi all fellow investors (yeah about 3 of you)I see MNS have today announced a very important alliance with Maersk Data to provide MAPS suite of software to shippers across the globe !! For more info goto the company website. I just hope this agreement is more fruitful than the alliance with ATOS which to my knowledge has resulted in "squat did".....buggar all !!! Best Wishes Rob Ward |

Posted at 24/7/2003 23:39 by cockneyrebel Got a gallop on now - I guess the traders are out and the larger long term buy hold investors are moving in.Backed by the Chairman's recent 1m buy and positive noises this one should have some real legs on it. CR |
