To add to this, I think I will wait on earnings results from Goog and MSFT before making a decision on this being a buy. I think that of they miss predictions there could be a further fall, if they do well I think the nav should increase given they are the top holdings from memory that is. They were for a long while.

This is really struggling. 30% down in 6 months. This and SMT continued the tech downward trend today. This could become attractive again soon? At 18% discount, it could be close to a buy now? This is 100p or so lower than March 2020 price for comparison. The top holdings of the portfolio are safe, but 128% overweight USA and tech isn't the play heading towards recession however. It's one for the brave contrarians.

They recently sold-out of their entire Chinese positions. Only time will tell whether that was a total capitulation at the market bottom or an inspired call. My gut feeling the former but still holding here as well as about 6% portfolio in China (JCGI).

sold out today
very disappointing performance this year
too much fancy manoeuverning with etf's etc for my liking and widening discount looks likely to continue

Google and Microsoft reaching all time highs today and MNL is down. Time for another top up.

The spread was too large the other day otherwise I would have considered topping up. It has taken a big hit following the telegraph and recently the citywire article. It is still cheap exposure to some great companies.

A high quality technology trust on 14% discount, this is very good value and a good long term investment as well.

Part of the recent decline has to be down to the strengthening pound which is up approximately 15% over the past year v the dollar. The NAV seems to track FAANG stocks quiet closely but the share price discount has widened. PCT is also now on 7.5% discount SMT on 2.5%.

My view looking at the underlying holdings there's every good reason to expect the share price to increase and reward us so buying more on dips while the £ is stronger and quality is on sale at a discount.

Now on 10% discount. Nice if you're buying. Not so clever if you're a holder. Still suffering from questor article hangover.

Thaiger Agreed completely baffling and then up again? Did the company step in to buy shares?

What causes MNL share price to be down so much when others are up today?

I'm not overly concerned about movement up or down in what is a very volatile market. It is to be expected with money transitioning into value and the gains last year. Look at how it did in the crash - fairly impressive.Monthly factsheet released today.

Given the price gyrations/decline since July, isn't it time someone renamed this board?!

Back to 600p. Hopefully Telegraph panic didn't force too many to sell on here.
