GRANT OF OPTIONS 
 
 
The Board of Mano River Resources Inc. (the "Company") announces that, pursuant 
to its Stock Option Plan and subject to regulatory approval, it has granted 
incentive stock options to certain directors, employees and consultants of the 
Company.   The stock options were granted over a total of 5,200,000 common 
shares representing approximately 1.64% of the issued share capital of the 
Company at an exercise price of Cdn$0.035 per share, exercisable for a period of 
five years from 19 January 2009. The stock options are exercisable immediately. 
 
 
The allocation of stock options to directors was as follows: Luis da Silva 
1,500,000, Guy Pas 1,000,000, David Evans 700,000, Tom Elder 375,000 and Malcolm 
Burne 375,000.
