PSR very low and share price down 90% over the past 12 months.
Asymmetric risk/reward ratio looks attractive, especially with net cash.
A bit of buying and this could really motor IMHO.

Worth remembering that the #MTEC CEO bought GBP150k of shares at 17.14p in July.At nearly 28% ownership already he didn't need to do that.and then In November COO of the Company, purchased 310,000 shares at a price of 10.40 pence per Ordinary Share and took his ownership to approximately 14.50%. -:-CEO and COO both together permitted to acquire ordinary shares in the Company up to 43.04% of the Company's issued share capital (as agreed with the Takeover Panel).-:- Following the above purchases by the 2 guys they now own shares equivalent TO 43.03%. Just shy of 43.4% permitted limit. -:-Ask yourself WHY buy just before the close period to almost maximum allowed

Look at the volumes and consolidation that has taken place over the last couple of months. We really could be in for a strong recovery from here, just needs to get noticed imo. Other small caps have been recovering lately and this could be the next to make some decent moves. Looking forward to seeing the trading update and/or results later this month. EV is currently only about £10M.

1st Feb last year then half year results a few weeks later. This has formed a bottom over a two month period so it could start rising leading up to the results from here.Remember the directors maxed out and bought as many as they could without breaking concert rules ie over 43%! I've always thought a management buyout has a high likelihood.

The COO maxing out his share allowance purchases just before the HY24 end signals to me that it's going to be a solid update. Any surprise to the upside and a big re-rate is on. 1/17For an EV of just £10m, I am getting a piece of a company that increased its sales bookings by 37% YoY and its contracted backlog by 78%.https://x.com/bigbitenow/status/1726543441675587849?s=46&t=b0GZtBw9WLMEyLYDE-UiEA

hTTps://blackswanshares.substack.com/p/3-microcaps-for-20243 microcaps for 202421/12/23MADE TECH GROUP (MTEC) MC £16 This is a mini KNOS, software co which specializes in digitisation projects for central and local UK government. The share price has been an absolute disaster since ipo. Again, this is another human capital intensive business which hired too many expensive employees at the top of the market and coupled with normalizing demand after covid, meant a tough, loss making period in which the ceo decided to shift focus on profitable growth by cutting costs, etc. The main positive with MTEC is the net cash position. It has c £8 mil net cash and this should be more than enough to support the transition to profitability without dilution. The main weakness is that these gov contracts are on a "call off basis" ie there are no defined time schedules so the timing of contract delivery it's entirely at the client's discretion. A few delays in timing caused poor staff utilisation rates which in turn impacted profitability but MTEC never lost a client and has a contracted backlog of c £67mil so it's a matter of when, not if. Once these contracts start, the operational gearing will have the opposite effect: super profits.

Price is so depressed here that I think MTEC has more chance of seeing strong capital gains. Cash consumption went down massively over last 18 months and only went down a small amount between Nov 22 (£9M) and May 23 (£8.5M). If that remains stable or increases in the next update I think this re-rates very quickly. Market cap is only £16M so half in cash currently!

Triad Group contract wins , director buying, plus dividend.

Triad could have done with some MTEC sales staff in the spring , they have been a tad slow in gaining contracts, however now 4 have been won in the last 8 weeks.

Same sector, same market, for comparison.

I honestly think that the 510K sale on Friday was the last from the seller. Looks like the shackles are off now. Finally. As I mentioned before, very comforting that the COO recently bought the maximum amount of shares allowed, in order for the concert party (Chris Blackburn and Rory MacDonald) not to go over 43.04% as per 17/11/23 RNS:Following this purchase, Chris Blackburn's total beneficial interest in the Company is 21,650,861 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 14.50% of the Company's issued share capital.Further to the Company's announcement on 23 February 2023, Chris Blackburn and Rory MacDonald (together, the "Concert Party") are permitted to acquire ordinary shares in the Company such that the Concert Party's fully diluted shareholding does not exceed 43.04% of the Company's issued share capital (as agreed with the Takeover Panel). Following the above purchase, the Concert Party's fully diluted shareholding in the Company is 64,245,033 ordinary shares, equivalent to 43.03%.

It will be interesting to watch if this company can get back to the IPO price.

On the plus side they do not have an issue with sales or gross margin at 37%.

The three in the sector are going about things in a different way.

TPX and MTEC are going for growth in revenues but net margin has suffered as a result.

Both could come unstuck if more cash is required.

However if they can produce decent net profits , its game on.

TRD unlike those above has the advantage of being an SME, this is going to become far more important as the new procurement Bill comes into force next year. SME’S are going to have a distinct advantage V larger companies at the bidding stage. ( UK government pushing for innovation and is fed up being held over a barrel by the big players with incumbent IT platforms.

TRD is also doing the reverse of the two companies above, having spent the last five years dumping low margin work and reducing revenues. That process is now finished.

The jury is out on all three companies.
