Seems all a bit over done to me:

- most of LXBs exposures have been forward sold already so there is no further price risk / pressure from other forced CRE liquidations

- risk assets are down but yields are extremely low as well - this effectively increases the demand from the pension funds/inco's who typically would bid these assets for yield - so any remaining assets on LXBs b/s should be still well bid

- these are mostly "food-led" out of town shopping centres - Brexit will not have a primary effect on the footfall of these assets

Interested to see what insiders will be doing in the next coming days. But given the strong activity post capital return / Brexit I would assume insider buying to continue strongly in the coming days.

Slamming sentiment. I'm sorely tempted to top up property holdings at some of these values, but do think it's likely to get worse now before it gets better...

I don't think stock specific ...commercial property sector being hit re Brexit...Standard Life shutting the door on withdrawals from its Property Fund isen't helping sentiment

is it just the general news about construction slowdown or anything specific to LXB slamming the price today?

There is no reason they have to they may already have ramped up at cheaper prices six months ago in anticipation of this capital return . If everyone wanted to reinvest there would not be enough shares to go round ....

Does anyone know how many partners have reinvested compared to not? I guess it's possible the holdouts are waiting for a Brexit blip with a meaty limit order.

Seems to me these directors all were planning big reinvestment of div, hence why talk up the price prior to buying, I think after all the director buying is out the way it might be time to let the good news cat out of the bag ...

Presuming everyone else who got a sizeable div and then reinvested it has their broker account showing a significant false 'loss' for this stock? I had to do a simpler calc of new cash spent on LXB vs current holding value to get a true picture (+5% so far).
