19/6/2010 16:35 | Balanced and interesting article in the FT today basically re-iterating what I said in my posts yesterday but importantly describing the debt issue as benign Schroders increasing their stake is a positive sign and it looks like the forced selling has dried up. If anyone has been silly enough to short here at these depressed levels then there could be a real squeeze on if they do re-structure the debt or trading has stabilised at the IMS statement on 13 July This is not a stock to buy and watch day to day rather a stock to tuck away and hope it multi-bags. | skookum2
18/6/2010 17:39 | Yes, skookum, another example was Regus RGU (although not in the same sector, another company whose 'assets' were all leases) which very nearly went bust but provided a staggering return to brave investors I have no idea whether LMR will get through its current difficulties but as you say, if it does, there's an opportunity for those prepared to risk the lot. | jeffian
18/6/2010 17:13 | Kewll - as Gconvery says - the directors were buying recently and at 29p. If you took the trouble to phone the company and do some research you would learn that they are now in a closed period until after the IMS in July. Schroders buying is a good sign as they are their largest shareholder. Very easily see 3-4 times your money on this if trade turns as the covenants will not get breached. It is actually very simple - lose the lot or the majority of a massively dilutive RI is carried out or multibag your capital if trade turns given the operational gearing. Very similar to MNR a year ago - 10p to 110p+. | skookum2
18/6/2010 16:21 | Directors have been buying, Schroders just bought more....not sure what RNSs you are reading! | gconvery

18/6/2010 13:41 | greedfear Referencing your post of 226 Good judgement call. Once LMR descended into penny share status it entered the realms of "shot to nothing". Interesting to see such stockmarket specialists at work as they try to judge the dead cat bounce and distort the fundamental story to justify the technical move in the share price. Volume is miniscule and that alone makes the move suspect. Certainly for the brave at these levels. The art of judging a bottom in a share price move is not an easy one. Witness the difficulties experienced by speculators in shares such as FDL, 888, RPT, UKC or HMV. The trick seems to centre on being able to distinguish between the recovery play and the doomed - the former allows for buy and hold, the latter requires expeditious exit to realise short term gain whilst it is still there. | bobsidian

17/6/2010 18:51 | Remember the old days where a holding Rns would be two lines and said so and so has sold or bought x amount and now holds x % ! Stock market is bolx at times, they do away with trade types as well ! | watchout2
