SMS@ctive to proceed ahead with Office in China

VANCOUVER, Aug. 3  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arshad Shah, President and CEO of SMS@ctive Technologies Corp. (OTC:SMSE), announced today that SMS@ctive will be proceeding ahead with opening its office in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The Company also has to apply to various regulatory authorities for registration before commencement off full operations.

Our office in Beijing will be responsible for technical and business development in the PRC and other countries.

Company will commercialize the T-Bar shortly, and activate its network of gateways to enable subscribers to communicate.

SMS@active also plans to add variety of content to the i-Demand platform.

Mr. Li Jin Zhao, Vice President of Chinese Operations will manage the new office including engineers and support staff. He will coordinate the marketing of content in the Chinese market and oversee the commercialization of SMS@ctive's iDemand wireless platform and SMS T-Bar.

China's ever expanding Mobile Wireless market has reached 431 Million subscribers by mid 2006.
