24/6/2020 08:51 | Statement so good I'll repeat myself: You cant get better then saying in May we'll beat all expectations then now in June saying we'll beat the May expectations too. Come on! That that is what I call a good statement! And its only gone up about 10% so far - there must be more legs in this over the coming days, weeks, months. | netcurtains
24/6/2020 07:41 | I’m still confident of £65m revenue and £8m clean PBT per my deep dive a few months back. Fincap will be forced to upgrade their £53m. We should be trading at 2018 levels but need the meat on the bone in the july detailed update. Wonder if we might finally get some press and investor interest? | rimau1
24/6/2020 07:35 | Hi, thanks for your close tracking/posts. Another positive Covid WFH share is WEY (Wey Education), benefitting from the accelerated tailwind for on-line education. .Take your own view on shot-in-the-arm versus sustainable increase in business volumes of these Covid beneficiary stocks..Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
24/6/2020 07:21 | rimau1: Yes you cant get better then saying in May we'll beat all expectations then in June saying we'll beat the May expectations too. Blimy that is a good statement. | netcurtains
24/6/2020 07:10 | Stunning update. This should rerate fast. Fincap might wait for the quantitative detailed update in July but there is no doubt this is materially undervalued. | rimau1
23/6/2020 16:04 | PUG why is your breakeven point relevant for you investment process? | spooky
23/6/2020 15:45 | Each to their own but as a shareholder I am not too bothered that nobody has responded o you within 24 hours. The announcement is clear: the AGM will follow a different format and will not be open to shareholders in the usual way. To ensure that shareholders still have the opportunity to engage directly with the Board, the Group will hold a special virtual shareholder event during July 2020, following the planned update of the Company's trading for the first half of the year through to 30 June 2020. Further details of this virtual shareholder event will be announced by RNS in due course. What's your beef with that? And good on Loopup for concentrating on important matters and servicing clients rather than addressing a pointless suggestion from a (newly arrived) shareholder who gives every impression of just wanting to make a quick buck. | orange1
23/6/2020 14:36 | Quite simply the AGM is going to focus on the formal matters i.e the resolutions and an interactive event is planned for shareholders in July which i am sure will be held on Loopup. Jeez no pleasing some people Pug! | rimau1
23/6/2020 14:27 | Why they do not have the AGM using their own product? They really seem to have missed a point here - phoned FKI as a shareholder =given as the contact point for Steve Flavell - Terrible service - Left number for one of the team to call me back but no response 24 hours later - Hence this negative post. Having had great first use last week now wonder if it was beginners’ luck!! | pugugly
23/6/2020 14:01 | I didn’t realise we got a plug in the money observer for Stock winners from covid. Probably explains the recent rise “Meanwhile, in the UK market, Gervais Williams, manager of Diverse Income investment trust, notes that two firms whose share prices have been boosted by the working-from-home trend under lockdown are LoopUp, a remote meetings business that offers video conference calls, and Kape Technologies, a provider of cyber security software” | rimau1
23/6/2020 11:59 | The AGM is on the 27th June but a closed event just conducting necessary formalities. But looking forward we'll have an update fairly soon: 'To ensure that shareholders still have the opportunity to engage directly with the Board, the Group will hold a special virtual shareholder event during July 2020, following the planned update of the Company's trading for the first half of the year through to 30 June 2020. Further details of this virtual shareholder event will be announced by RNS in due course.' Last year it was the 3 July so pretty prompt - this year might be later with all those bigger numbers making the sums more difficult - ;-) | maddox
22/6/2020 20:59 | Where we work been told of next week to move from Skype to Microsoft Business. Microsoft Business , the host will hold the event. Digging deeper this is part of loopup deal with Skype. So no one can be confused Skype and Microsoft are the same company. We work in a sensitive area within the UK and data can not be known , over 80% work force use there phones combined with 20% using voice over the internet. At present our phones are converted to voice over internet , sometimes its hard to hear the others speak. | thordon
22/6/2020 10:13 | I thought i had said that!! We are on the move. If my forecasts are even remotely close once we have confirmation that Q2 has continued Momentum from Q1 this should rerate significantly and Fincap will upgrade. | rimau1
22/6/2020 10:09 | Thanks Orange1 - that was all I wanted to know! | netcurtains
22/6/2020 10:07 | No, because the USP of Loop is not encryption but the quality of the audio (via landlines) and of the hosting. See many posts on this subject further up the thread. This is not affected by the decision of other suppliers to encrypt or not to encrypt. | orange1
22/6/2020 08:53 | rimau1: Sorry you missed the point of the article. I was wondering if zoom giving FREE end to end encryption will effect the demand for premium services of the industry generally. Security is normally a premium service. | netcurtains
22/6/2020 08:18 | Netcurtains - are you asking is a $66bn company impacting a £60m market cap company? Apples and Pears. Loop is in a very niche market differentiated by audio quality and simplicity via phone lines and i continue to be bemused by people trying to compare the two. As long as the shift towards more flexi working and working from home continues there is plenty of room for everyone. | rimau1
22/6/2020 07:56 | does this news effect loopup? | netcurtains
21/6/2020 11:07 | rimau1 nice find , posted it on LSE board. Even if you try to calculate the increase turnover , we can easy say its above 40% above last years turnover. Loopup have also increased the job vacancy , which is a good guide to the company's health. At current price shares are undervalued and will add more | thordon
21/6/2020 09:38 | Thanks Pug, thats good to know and consistent with feedback that i have heard. | rimau1
21/6/2020 09:27 | Participated in first Loopup conference call on Friday - Audio only - No operator assistance - Easy to login and audio (phone) excellent - However still under water on share price - No investment advice intended - just user feedback for interest. | pugugly
21/6/2020 09:04 | Nice article written by Danielle Homer, the head of event at Loopup published on June 15th , mostly info we all know on the benefits of event but one key nugget of info worth highlighting “ Since lockdown, customers have been using operator-assisted event calls far more frequently. One of our customers has increased their managed conference calls from 3 to 90 calls per month! Our overall event call volumes have tripled – a trend that is continuing, despite some aspects of lockdown being eased“ So the trend for significantly higher event by loopup calls continues through May with volumes tripled YoY. This is very important as event by loopup is the highest margin business and a complete product differentiator. My revenue forecasts that i shared a few months back assumed conservative growth in event with most of the covid related growth coming from the core lower margin loopup product so i am more confident in my 2020 outturn now than i was last week. Unlikely to get any update at the AGM this week but the company confirmed an update will be provided in July alongside interims. Full article here hxxps://loopup.com/r | rimau1
11/6/2020 15:17 | Its all just a bit too ramptastic. To paraphrase “Zoom should buy Loopup to become a truly global platform because its too US focussed” and the guestimate figures being banded around like q1 revenue of £23m, PE of 5-10. Those points are just on the first page. All our own opinions which are great to hear and no offence to whoever is writing this stuff but if they believe it they are going to be a little disappointed. | rimau1
11/6/2020 12:11 | Please explain. | spooky |
