I see Companies house have just done the name change today from Longboat Energy to Seascape Energy Asia PLC.

Whatever ..Companies House or Petronas /Petros final DRO sign off.. I really don't think its a material issue .

I think that's a cover story for the fact they haven't signed the deal yet.

Could be wrong but I took it that the signing is possibly under the name of Seascape and the delay is reflecting that. It’s why they seem to be hopeful that it will be done by the last possible date for the results otherwise why bother mentioning the Companies house backlog delay ?

Enquest in their interim results presentation mentioned they’re looking at M&A in SE Asia. They also want to have more exposure to gas. Enquest already have material production in Malaysia, and a good relationship with Petronas. Could LBE’s gas projects be a natural fit for what Enquest are searching for?

The key issue is the NS has changed . Is no longer a place for small oil companies. Asia especially Malaysia is the place to be today imo oil and gas investment. The Management have an excellent track record there with Salamander Energy.
