It has gone for debt for equity swap, so not Assets. Owning close to 200pubs they can easily pay the debt anytime but in Bank int. it is not good, so they can loan to operate the business...Bank made equity swap at 5p while propety sentimental has gone up ( ex : DTZ and CAL) so Bank would wait to make the money...that what they are for. Only 26mil share in issue. Good propposition for making a punt just like TW.

Maybe its because the dont own any pubs, the bank does.

LTW has great pubs assets, if they need cash/loan they can always get aginst the PUB assets, as you know PUBS are great property and also PUB industry in recovered at least 30% for no reason why this should trade at such low SP, when CAL, MAR, ETI all are doing well. Any 1 any idea?

correct, looking at the current spike on most of the property share price ..this is very undervalued and consists of large PUB assets, this is damn undervalued. Once this get little push, then will blown up...I have loaded with cheap share price

British Land's positive outlook today ('clear improvement') may rub off on other property stocks (cal, mnr...)

and maybe the properties of ltw will increase in value too, on the second line of that wave of sentiment.

100k buy
it's a start :-)

with the ftse improving, and improving sentiment, this could be a risky 'bottom-fisher' type stock.

We have a few sells but the price is going up. Directors buying is my guess. This needs to go back to at least 10p for the D4E to be an attractive proposition. If it was my company I would be buying this to give confidence to the market and get the share price back up. Imo its a double your money play at these levels.

Those that still post most likely hold. I think we have to wait a while for those that jumped in on a quick profit, and regret their actions, sell as the price recovers enough to limit their losses.

andrbea,

without intruding into your privacy, in my opinion, your posts clearly indicate that you hold ltw.

i do hold 20k.

posts 85, 86 and 90 show 3 pubs taken over by LT in recent weeks

At least they're pro-active and trying to win new business.

at last some green (3%)

I see upside to 10 or 20p

my post earlier:

so overall loss doubles roughly year-on-year
SP falls 137 to 5

over-reaction?

ok assets near enough wiped out by current debt
but as far as turnover and loss on the financial year are concerned it wasn't a 70% drop...

and the 5p Debt for equity swap was probably the best they could get in the current market and SP-predicament.
